We desperately need a CF - not talking world class here, semi-decent player that can hold up the ball, with good pace and movement.
We had chances yes, but every game with Ronaldo up front is a chore. It was the same last season - even with the goals, and was the same today. He didn't play badly, but didn't make things happen either. He's a bonafide goalscorer when on form, even if that trait seems to have left him, but he's not a CF, and we severely lack that cohesion in the final third.
I can't blame him for the brainless crosses his teammates were putting in though. It's almost like they were thinking "he's Ronaldo, just cross the ball anywhere in the box and even if he's sandwiched between 2 defenders, he'll arrow it into the bottom corner with his head"
