    Embarrassing.
LVG really needs to either sort it (not sure he can) or just go. It's absolutely abysmal.

It might have been a pen, but Depay definitely dived, no way the force of the contact which was soft at the very most, would have send him flying.

wow - Scholes isn't happy and that's an understatement. "if i was in the dressing room right now, i'd have my head between my hands. i'd be depressed". he's disappointed just like the rest of us.

    There's only one United!
Oh, for sure that I always want United to win, but I'm so unhappy watching the team play this 'philosophical' so-called football and I've been watching them since the sixties.

    This is so depressing.

Watch it again mate, he got tagged pretty hard. Should have been a red card, awful challenge.

I think you'll find that I paid 40 quid for the "honour" of being at Old Trafford tonight... And by any benchmark, that first half... Hell, that whole game, was utterly disgraceful. If anyone disagrees with that assessment then I would question the sanity of that individual.

Now, if I feel the need to post my opinion on here - at half feckin time no less in this case - or even during a break in play... Then I'll feckin do it, because this forum was designed for opinions, and my opinion is no less valid because I'm at the fecking game.

Yep, studs up and all. Definite Red. Great spot by the Ref though, because Memphis did make a meal of it. I was literally quivering when I saw BFS signal that he was injured. I was dreading another Shaw like Injury.

I did, several times. And if you do the same, you can notice that when pen was given Depay was on his feet in no time. This "jump" Memphis did was a 100% dive. Yes that was not a simulation of the foul itself, since the defender did get him, but it was kind of "highlighting" the foul thing. Still unnecessary and pretty disgraceful, esp considering who the opponents were.

Yet somewhat befitting the shit football we are playing.:(

Didn't celebrate that goal at all. I'm that apathetic about watching United at the minute. Awful performance against a side that aren't even living up to expectations in League One at the minute.

I just don't want to watch this football for another 18 months under Van Gaal, it's not what I watch the game for. There's not being particularly exciting but this is on another level and after spending so much money, it's infuriating to see.

I watched this in a pub full of Man United fans, and there were no cheers or celebrations when the penalty went in. It's got to the point where the performances are so pathetic, pulling a win out of the hat isn't even worth celebrating. There's only a certain amount of time that can happen until people start losing interest, then sponsors will lose interest. Surely people inside the club can see that.

Scholes made himself look stupid by saying the answer to our problems is to give the ball to Rooney more.. Do all the pundits look away when he gets given the ball or what?

Lol, if anything your opinion is more valid because your actually at the match. At least you can gauge the mood and performance up close.

To say that I want to punch all the "shut up and don't complain" twats square in the face is an understate to say the least.

Anyone know what the attendance was for the game? Or where I can get those figures. Im arguing with a City fan who's posting pictures of Old Trafford with empty seats. Im assuming those pics were taken before the game even started.

Some who were at the game said there were empty spaces, maybe some just didn't bother turning up.
