and you think there wasn't excessive force...
Where's the excessive force? There's no excessive force behind his lunge that takes him out and he doesn't clatter the opposition player either.

As the former referee, and semi-something-pro goalkeeper, can't you do us all a favor of giving us a proper professional opinion on what De Gea does wrong for their 4th goal, I'm going to get me a glass of Chichibu on the way to enjoy this.

"I don't promote violence, but many people need a good slap right now," perfectly put by Patrice Evra

No I don't. The fact that you're singling out Pogba for that characteristic (not that I agree) proves that it hasn't rubbed off on anyone hence why you're not labeling others with that same moniker. Otherwise he would be indistinguishable from the others regarding that attitude, and would therefore not lend himself to being labeled as THE virus.

Like logically it doesn't make sense to me.
You must be watching different games to me since he came back into the side if you think others are putting in shifts.

Influence doesnt just happen when its positive. Roy keane influenced those around him. So does Pogba, unfortunately it's just that he influences them to do fcuk all.

His indecisive goalkeeping left us with a mountain to climb. That isn’t excusing Maguire or Shaw or a Bailly and doesn’t excuse our woeful midfield who were completely bypassed, but he has his part to share. A couple of TV saves doesn’t exculpate his mistakes, which helped put us on that back foot and led to this absolute disgrace of a performance.
Which situations are you referring to?

Struggling to remember a worse start to a season

Coupled with the worst transfer window in years

Baffling how poor we are right now.

Ole ultimately has to motivate the team but its clear no player even got near too 100% today.

This club needs an overhaul, with few fit to survive

The only players I’d give a pass to, and this is based on what I saw as I turned it off after 5, were Greenwood and Rashford. They’d both get a 4, everybody else would get a 1 including DdG.
To be honest I don't really blame DDG for most of the goals. You have the entire defence allowing opposition attackers to take shots inside 5-6 yards out.

And those shots they took their time. Aurier for example had all the time in the world. Kane first - no one in sight. Son's first could've easily squared it for an open goal. Son's second - unchallenged taking a shot inside the keeper area. Bailly passing inside our penalty area was taking the piss. It was the worse defensive performance I've seen from a top club(if we're considered one still).

Greenwood and Rashford were passengers with the game passing by. Spurs were a lot closer to score more goals than us narrowing the margin..

can you imagine if Keano was in Ole's management team.. there would be blood
hell yeah, even Evra has just stated he wants to slap some people. get those two in charge of coaching at Old Trafford and there would be some extreme changes, I would pretty much guarantee it. Evra was a fantastic defender, Keane was one of the best midfielders in the world and the pair of them put their hearts on show each and every time. Utd desperately need associates like them.

DDG has never been brave enough for me. goes with feet too often. you can hide from the facts if you like but they remain facts

rashford can run the campaign in person. doesn't deserved to be picked at the moment
I think none of them deserve anything. But that wont bother them much. Those Mercedes g class and Bentley's have a soothing effect on a weary soul. They'll live through it somehow

You keep harping on about your years as a goalkeeper and referee, but you neither know the actual rules and you can't even describe what a goalkeeper has done wrong in a specific situation, yet you keep on harping about being a former semi-something-at-a-decent-level. Bizarre. Why is it so difficult to back anything up?

Add Anthony Joshua to that coaching team and just take turns slapping the shit out of them the whole training session.

I'd pay money to see that.

When will people finally understand why jose called him a virus? Attitude, workrate, efffort etc all stink and it rubs off on people....its contagious like a virus.
Well said, but should have made this post when Jose was still here.

The fact that the club sacked Jose to make some lazy-over paid players happy and then went on to hire a clueless manager says it all about the current status of the cub.

maybe if you listened I'd bother.. but you won't. are you a tory MP by any chance? I've said a number of times that DDG uses his feet for to much and isn't brave enough. he was very slow for at least two of the goals and has been poor for about a year now

Meanwhile everyone on Sky agrees it was a red card. If it had been a Spurs defender on rashford, I wonder what you'd be saying. but as I said, you don't want to listen

Gary still not able to criticise Ole....
I think Gary has definitely spoken of how the issues higher up the food chain are the biggest concern. With Ole, we all can see the inadequate coaching ability he has as it is right there in our faces, Gary side-steps that and points his fingers at the hierarchy and directly at the players.

Well this was bad... Let us start:

    1. Defending. Oh my! Maguire should get his wages taken for one month. As bad as it comes. I feel sorry for Shaw and WanBissaka when Rashford and Greenwood doesn't even trace their fullbacks. Diabolic defending today. Again. They came from our flanks exactly the same way Brighton did. Solskjaer need to fix this fast. Even if it means putting Rashford or Greenwood on the bench.

    2. Scorline said 1-6. But it is not because of qualilty. It was about character and will. Our heads goes down as soon as we let in a goal. Not first time, not last time. Players need more character and also more steel. I understand that red card made situation worse but heads up. Get though.

    3. VAR and referee. I think the talk of us getting penalties have gone into heads of the FA. I don't know how you can explain Martial sending off and why VAR didn't do anything? He killed the game and certanly killed us the moment he showed his bias. Shaw is red card all day long but I guess referee thought, "now I can say that I didn't refeered against ManUtd. Now when the game is over".

    4. Stop playing from the back. It has never worked for us and probably never will.

Imagine watching the past 7 years and thinking that a managerial change will change deeper substantial issues.
It'll change the quality of the
coaching. There isn't one element to success and we need to look at the other factors too.

    Mourinho surprisingly humble.
to be fair, I think he always is. I remember the years when Chelsea didn't win the title and he want up to the fans, telling them to keep their chins up. It's why i thought he was the right man for us...

Number 4. needs to be said again. then put in an email to Ole... then in a registered letter to Ole

So it's Ed's fault that Bailly and Maguire are playing like school boys?
It's Ed's fault that Martial reacts?
It's Ed's fault that the ref makes a ridiculous decision?
It's Ed's fault that Pogba goes to sleep for the 5th goal?
It's Ed's fault that we have absolutely no defensive organization?
Yes. It's symptomatic of the 7 years of his tenure. Back, Sack and crack and hope for top 4 and brand recognition to keep the coffers afloat to service debt and pay dividends whilst maintaining the hubris of finding yourself shredding SAF and Gill and Edward's legacy at every turn.

It is Ed's fault that he found the credit lines to negotiate andleverage the deal that allowed teh Glazer's to buy

It is Ed's fault that established players were treated appallingly (See Rio and Evra et al)

It is Ed's fault that general re-enforcements among the backline especially, have not been sorted out in the past 10 weeks despite there clearly being a need.

It is Ed's fault that this scenario repeats throughout the 7 years.

It is Ed's fault that his nearest rivals all sorted out their transfers and pushed on leaving our squad and manager spinning plates. Let's compare Liverpool's board strategy over the same period shall we?

It is Ed's fault that his bezzie mates from Bristol, deal with transfers so terribly and still do not allow footballing decisions to be made instead relying on value and deal making gleaned from their banking days and prioritizing sponsorship deals and manipulating the media as they remain detached and deluded because the Glazers lavish them with control after they helped them leverage debt upon the club.

It is Ed's fault that he never properly backs managers over the long-term and instead always falters in nearly every substantial transfer strategy which his bezzie mates control the negotiations for.
