According to the stats on here Bruno and Casemiro are both one yellow card away from 10 for the season. I'm not sure if the cards have been wiped at this stage but if not I wouldn't risk them with the trip to Liverpool coming up.

Not sure why people are resting De gea. Of all the players Goal keepers should be fit for playing continuous games.

I would start with below team:

    de gea
    Dalot maguire/lindelof licha malacia
    Casemiro sabitzer
    Antony sancho garnacho
    Weghorst

Sub Casemiro with Mct if we are winning at 60-70 min.
But I think TenHag would start Bruno and Shaw.

What a fecking week we had lads! Smashed Leicester in the league, outplayed and eliminated Barcelona in Europe and comfortably defeated Newcastle in the EFL Cup final today.

Let's continue the momentum on Wednesday, though some rotation is both necessary and inevitable. I'd definitely rest Shaw, Casemiro and Rashford.

    Team should be...

    ------------------De Gea------------------
    Dalot--Maguire--Lindelof--Malacia
    -----McTominay----Sabitzer-------
    Antony-------Sancho-------Garnacho
    -----------------Weghorst-----------------

Subs: Heaton, AWB, Varane, Martinez, Shaw, Casemiro, Fred, Fernandes, Rashford
That's probably the team, except Heaton for De Gea. Fred was subbed after 69 minutes and could start, so maybe we'll see Sabitzer as nr. 10 and Sancho on the right.

Rotate a bit but fecksake lads, we want to win trophies. None of this whole sale changes and get beat nonsense.

    De Gea
    AWB - Maguire - Martinez - Malacia
    Sabitzer - Casemiro
    Antony - Bruno - Garnacho
    Rashford
    This guy needs a rest.

Rashford & Bruno 100% need a breather. West Ham are dire (yesterdays result aside) and we should beat them without the main attackers

Interesting how we can play with B team. De Gea should play imo, what's the point of keeping him out in that form?

Weghorst and De Gea stay, others to be rested.

    Red Card for Casemiro!
Don't think EtH will be rotating as much as we'd want him to, and for good reason. We have a stronger chance of winning the FA cup than winning the league, and the lineup will reflect that.

Shaw, Bruno, Rashford, and one of Licha/Varane to not start. I think Casemiro will be needed given changes at CB.

For the first time in a long time, we have a squad that we can easily rest every player and still be very competitive

    Heaton
    AWB Maguire Lindelo Malacia
    Sabitzer McT
    Mainoo
    Sancho Elanga Garnacho
    Looks good!

I’d go with this. Need to maintain the momentum, getting beat by West Ham outweighs the benefits of a few days rest. Rashford needs a break, as does Varane who’s pretty fragile.

I'd rest Rash (I think this is certain), and leave Bruno and Casemiro on the bench. Though I think, Bruno will start anyway

    DDG

    Dalot
    Maguire
    Lisandro
    Malatia

    Fred
    Sabitzer

    Jadon

Would actually be an incredibly strong shadow team if Eriksen were available ahead of Mainoo and Martial instead of Elanga.

Rest Varane, Shaw, Fred, Bruno, Rashford and perhaps Wout. Play Dave, Martinez, Casemiro, Antony, Sancho. There are enough good players to fill in the gaps. And I live in hope that Martial will be on the bench. With games coming thick and fast we are going to need him very soon

I would definitely rest Varane, Shaw, Fred and Rashford. Maybe Martinez, Casemiro and Bruno (definitely Bruno if we had another option in his position).

It won't be heavy rotation for sure. But 4-5 players getting a rest should be happening.

De Gea, Dalot, Maguire/Lindelof, Martinez, Malacia, Casemiro, Sabitzer, Bruno*, Antony, Sancho, Weghorst.

Mainoo in Bruno's position if ten Hag is ready to give him a chance in this kind of game and Martial in for Wout if possible but he won't be fit to start the game probably.

Ten Haag doesnt change much. Probably Varane and Fred rested for Maguire and Sabitzer. Rashford will be determined by fitness with Sancho coming in if he needs a rest.

    De Gea
    Dalot--Maguire--Martinez--Malacia
    Casemiro--Sabitzer
    Antony--Fernandes--Sancho
    Weghorst

Subs: Heaton; AWB, Varane, Lindelof, Shaw; Fred; Garnacho, Pellistri, Rashford

Ideally, I would rest Rashford but that's not going to happen,

    Wan Bissaka--Maguire--Martinez--Malacia
    Casemiro--Sabitzer
    Sancho--Bruno--Garnacho
    Weghorst

Rest Shaw, Varane, Rashford and Antony for Liverpool. As much as I'd like to see Bruno rested, that isn't going to happen. He practically plays 90 mins of every game.

Going into the 2nd leg vs Forest we were 2-0 up on aggregate and Ten Hag still put out a strong 11. Realistically, he won't rotate much vs West Ham either.

It's clear that EtH wants to go for all four trophies...realistically the league isn't going to happen so that puts us to 3. FA Cup isn't a priority given the workload of the team at the moment.

Rather see Sancho as 10 with Sabitzer on the right. Mostly because I'm curious about what Sabitzer offers playing there.

    'tis a silly place
    De Gea
    AWB/Dalot - Lindelof - Martinez - Malacia
    McTominay - Casemiro - Sabitzer
    Sancho - Weghorst - Garnacho

Subs if we are in a position to take players off with a comfortable lead:
    Antony --> Weghorst
    Mainoo --> Casemiro

Another game in 2 days? This season is like a never ending series of elimination games. Feels like we're playing squid game.

I'm afraid. On one hand we have a genuine chance to win this competition and I don't want to rotate players who are riding the wave right now, but on the other our team looked knackered against Newcastle and after this it's the scousers. West Ham might be shit, but the tempo we've established needs to be maintained. Tough choice for ETH to make.

    Rest the following:

    Varane
    Martinez
    Rashford
    Casemiro
    Bruno.
Imo not Martinez and Casemiro. Martinez looked just fine and Casemiro already got his rest in his three matches ban. Bruno and Rashford simply must be rested though. Shaw could use one as well.

    DDG
    Dalot Martinez Lindelof Malacia
    Casemiro
    Sabitzer McT
    Sancho WW Garnacho

Still a pretty decent team imo.

Been shaking my head at all the calls for resting key players like in the Barca game but, this one definitely think he will need to rotate

DDG, AWB, Lindelof, Licha, Malacia, McTominay, Sabitzer, Sancho, Weghorst, Garnacho, Pellistri to start.

Rashford needs to be a sub to start because he obviously was feeling his ankle/foot whatever the injury was. Casemiro and Fred have put a tonne of work in the last 2 games. Varane seems to be one that ETH has been managing minutes for all season, so will naturally be rotated.

The Liverpool game and Real Betis after that are going to need all the energy they have.
