    Indeed.

Terrible lineup yet again. Going with the same team that put in the worst performance of the season 10 days agi was embarrassing and led to the expected result. The optimism on here with the select was hilarious. You guys just never learn.
You couldn't wait to post that.

United totally deserved to loose as it is filled with players without guts and do not chase back. 89mil, 75 mil players are waste of money. Especially Pogba who caused United the game.

The defence has been shit since Bailly has been out.

If we are going to be ropey at the back, why not give Lindelof a chance to gain experience

Smalling and Jones are never going to become a great CB pairing, what is the point of persisting with them.

You also spoke about dropping him.
...in reply to someone who brought that up. I said he's NOT getting dropped in spite of his lack of movement in the box as that's been there all season.

So what? When we fail to take our chances all the time, we don’t deserve anything.
I'm just saying... As shit as we were we still didn't deserve to lose that game. We had more than enough chances to probably even win the game. Not good enough at the end of the day.

For all the money we've spent, we cant even get a point against the almighty Newcastle, who hasn't win a home game in 3 months.

Aye but a combination of shit defending and an inability to attack won’t get us anywhere  we need to wake the feck up.

We really need to find some form, with none of our players currently seeming to be having things go their way.

fecking pathetic, how our shouse defence has conceded as few goals as we have is astounding. Absolutely useless especially Smalling and Jones. I'm sick of Mourinho especially his treatment of Shaw.

Why should he be dropped? He's been excellent in recent weeks.

Sanchez has not been the problem. The issue is the complete lack of input from Martial and Lingard today, neither getting into good positions. And when Martial did get that chance, he messed it up.
I agree, only Sanchez and Lukaku turned up today.

Didn’t get to watch the match. I’m guessing the attack had a few good chances all of which they missed, Jones/smalling errors lead to a goal, Pogba and matic in a two got overrun as they usually do as there is no third midfielder, our only good attacks involved Sanchez. Martial started ok then slowly got worse, Valencia and young were ok but nothing special?

If Mou can't park the bus he is not happy. Looking at his tactics, why did we bother buying Sanchez (most probably just to get one over Pep). It won't be to long until the players and him have a fallout, as no player is happy to play this way. Last year he got away with this shit due to his trophy haul, this year we won't be winning nothing, fighting for top 4.

Why are we still using Young at LB? Why are we still playing the chuckle brothers together at the back? Why are we playing Sanchez on the left pushing our most productive player out of position? Why are we persisting with Pogba in a central 2 when everyone can see it doesn't work? Before the ball is even kicked it feels like we're losing in every area of the pitch when we line up like this.

I haven't watched the game, so I can't say it's all Jose's fault, but it seems he is making mistakes before kick off which instantly put us at a disadvantage. Every time one of these losses happens I always think "well at least he'll learn a lesson and play the obvious players in the right positions rather than do some mystical genius shit" but no, same old crap over and over, and it blows up in our face more than it ever works.

You won’t see a team raise their game as much as Newcastle did today.
We have this excuse every week, it can't always be true. Maybe other teams aren't as bad as we tale them for, or maybe we aren't at the level we think we are.

This is a 2/10 performance and the players have let down the club and the fans. This is utterly appalling all over the pitch and improvement has to be expected or consequences must follow.
Jose has let down the fans. For weeks has played a non existant midfield Matic aside and allowed our defense to be pressed into panic. 2/10 garbage is the norm now. Jose is stealing a living. Pogba refuses to grow up and play in a 2, and Jose refuses to play him in a 3, and at the end of thr game today he had 3 deep CMs in a 3, 1 who should be retired and the other an ok academy product, and Smalling still on looking like a rugby player. What in gods name is Jose playing at.... every manager in the league must be loving this.

I actually thought Jones did okay but Smalling is just full of feck ups. We were slow and shit in the first half, didn't improve much in the second half. We didn't have any urgency until the last 5 minutes.

So what you're saying is, we are winning the CL or FA cup?

Probably didn't need to wait to be fair, seems like basic management. If you've got 10 players who played a terrible game together less than 2 weeks ago you don't play the exact same way again. Soon as I saw the line-up I was pretty annoyed.

I've said it before, but we have far too many average to poor players that winning top sides wouldn't have in their first team squad. I don't mind boring football if it's effective. Sanchez must be wondering what he's done.

The problem seems more than we don't play any of our best players in their actual position. If you play Messi in the wrong position he's gonna look average. It seems like there's such an obvious solution to it too, but Jose just won't do it for some reason.

Indeed I am a bit of a cnut although it’s the first time I’ve done that and it’s not the first time I was ridiculed pre match.

It seems people automatically get positive if a lineup includes one or two players - Namely Martial and if it seems “attacking”.

The City game, Spurs away and this. The optimism is so high and any valid concerns about the midfield are ridiculed. Which is the only reason I’ll then come back with my own snipe.

Our performances away from home of late have been shocking. Everton the main exception and that was a midfield three. Just leaves me dumbfounded that time and again he persists with a team that is showing no cohesion or progression. The Spurs game was enough to disqualify that XI from being used again this season.

I’m still a huge Mourinho fan. I love his personality and think he’s perfect for the club but he’s either being stubborn or stupid with these blatant mistakes. There also seems to be some recent disconnect with Pogba, which is concerning to say the least. He’s still our most valuable asset and a player we need to get the best out of.

I think a lot of our players are overrated on here and the idea that our squad is close to City’s is laughable. BUT I think of late it’s better than what we’ve been showing. Mourinho’s had a very poor few weeks.

You don't know much about United's history, do you?
Alright, you do have a point. Moyes and Van Gaal were worse but before that i don't think we had a team like this. Although we have stars, we do not have a TEAM! Jose tactics MUST CHANGE!
