Shut up, I am listening to Serbian commentator who is convinced they should have at least 3 penalties in this game.
And I'm listening to Spanish commentators who said it was a very interesting game. They should leave the heroin for recreational purposes only.

Is it? There are no Mou's signings here and the big target man is gone (5 goals with Inter already btw). What we're seeing is the British core, homegrown talent and players who understand what playing for manchester united is all about. That's pretty much Ole’s ideology

And I don't give a feck about nationality. As Shitty showed time and time again it's talent that win trophies not local core BS and understanding the club history.
What on earth are you talking about?

    Bollocking about fluently.
That referee looked as uninterested as some of the players. He didn't even bother getting the clock right - both at half time and full time he blew his whistle prematurely. Oh yeah and we were lucky not to get a penalty against us there that's a hands seven out of ten times. But meh - a scrappy win with scraps being fielded and finally the away curse being broken. I'll take it!

We've given 2 players coming back from injury 60 minutes run out, played a lot of youth and won the game.

It wasn't awful, like we've been playing recently.
C’mon man that was awful viewing. We won on a penalty, no shots on target yet again, a midfield that can’t pass the ball forward. We were bullied off the ball all game.

What frustrates me the most is the likes of Mata tonight, he never once looked to go forward. Rojo gave the ball away so much. These are two players who are meant to be experienced in our side.

Just look at the Partizan players, as soon as the referee blow the whistle they looked devastated they knew they had a chance. Thats how shitty we are at the moment, Partizan players dissapointed they didnt beat us.
As opposed to other teams who are usually delighted when they lose.

There's no middle ground? Sounds like nationalism as opposed to patriotism. Being down on your team is sometimes the only support it deserves.
Top red gatekeepers are out in full force.

This has been the case in match day threads since a decade on Caf. People used to complain about Zombie football, midfield issues etc during SAF days and top reds would be out asking supporters to support other teams.

Il take a win, shit performance but a win is a win.

7 points from 9 in the group stage is good going.
The kind of thankless win and awful performance that’s taken for granted and instantly forgotten if the team is doing well generally, and unnecessarily dissected just because it’s the most recent match when the team is not. The internet of course allows for all the knee jerk venting in the world.

Top reds and serial moaners are both horrible.

You mentioning Mou when there was none of his signings there. Instead we had a British core, lot of kids, no target men and alot of players who understands what playing for Man United is all about. That's pretty much Ole ideology

Also note that it wasn't Mou who spent 130m out of 155m purely on defenders. Ole did. So let's stop with Ole not being defensive minded shall we?

I think Ole has chosen to adopt Jose's tactics as he believes it will get the best out of the current squad. I wasn't referring to tonight specifically.

I agree but it's kind of justified after the horrors of the last two seasons. The moaning was over the top after the pool game but I haven't seen anything too bad considering the performance today.

If we are to have players high up I would rather it was a player with more to offer offensively than Jones. There is no reason why we can't play a traditional 4-4-2 against shitty teams. We play with 3 midfielders to win more possession. We would have plenty of possession with a 2 man midfield as well as have more attacking players in attacking positions. As it stands now, with 2 strikers (is Lingard really a striker?) we have no width and noone for our fullbacks to over lap
Full backs are the outlet with a wing back system . Granted ours my not be blessed in attacking terms but at least we are trying something more than 4231

That’s not support. That’s just moaning.
And your political comparison is a joke
It's actually pretty appropriate. Support the club no matter what, don't criticize it or go support another team. It's nonsense and it's not true love for a club. Neither is moaning all the time, mind you, that's why there should be a healthy middle ground but I can't blame anybody for having a hard time supporting this product when you know the money that has been spent.

That doesn't really make sense since 2 columns of Mou's game are gone (Matic and Lukaku). Meanwhile ole has already spent 155m (mostly on a CB and a defensive FB) and United has adopted the British core/players that truly understand Manchester United mantra, ole believe so much in. Why don't we just admit that Ole is at least as defensive as Mou is? Alternatively he is just clueless

    Woop got 9/11 starting predictions

But to the game, well an away win for the first time since that Paris night

Brandon Williams was great, surely OGS has seen now Young has no place in this team. And what exactly do Lingard and Mata do? Please use Gomes instead.
Romero keeps on doing his and delivering cup performances.

Great atmosphere at the pitch, good minutes for the youngsters out there but my god we play horrible football, the fact they probably deserved to win says it all. OGS probably happy though, win and top of the group.

You get my point, theres a difference between resignation and being devastated. I dont think you'll see those players reaction if they lost against barcelona for example.

I get how it's supposed to work but we don't have the right players for that formation. Today we saw one run down the flank without the ball and that was Williams for the penalty. Then we didn't see it again. In fact, I don't think we really got to the byline again until late in the game when James managed to dribble there and Mata messed it up and no other player was making a run to the far post like they should be...

    Furious? Really?
    Yes mate. Furious.

Seems his half time talk did wonders. That’s exactly why he shouldn’t have had a smile on his face at HT. Look at that match. Tell me that wasn’t a terrible performance?

Right, and my point still stands....so?
Their unbeaten record doesn't make our victory today a great achievement since the quality of opposition they are unbeaten against is subpar.

Disjointed performance but wasn't that to be expected? A midfield of McT, Garner and Lingard hasn't played before and it showed. The bottom line is we needed a win and we got it. Positives for me are the performances of AWB and Williams - they were excellent! Jones once again reminded us of his awfulness but he's a squad player going forward. Another win at Norwich and we might start to see some momentum.

    Your logic is twisted.
No other team has beaten them for X amount of games, we have.
We're in the Europa for a reason, this is our current level, so yes, it is an achievement, maybe not a great one but it's a good win.
