My issue here is Darmian was too high and Fletcher was teeing up that pass for an eternity. Absolutely no anticipation or nouce from Darmian to start shifting over towards the wingers direction so he can close him quicker. By the time the ball is played he is ball watching, tried putting his hand up for offside and is now to far away to make up any ground.
Rash made some good runs and had a couple of decent shots. Mkhitaryan has been very bad indeed.
He's been terrible.
He rarely imposes himself on a game, and goes missing a lot of the time.
He's had loads of shite headers and misses from clear heading chancez. One clip isnt going to change anything oh ye of the youtube generation
He's not playing on the right when we have the ball he's spent the whole game at number 10. The reason he's doing nothing is because literally the whole Stoke team are camped in their own half and he has 0 space to do anything. All of our plays have been down the wing or balls in behind, we haven't been able to play in between the lines at all and that's his game so what do you expect him to do?
Cant say terrible. Tentative is more the word. Just happy to play it safe, which has contributed to us creating little for the frontline. Needs to create something and switch to the flanks quicker.

Has to be Rashford's goal though. It would have stayed Pogba if it was a defender there, but they always give it to the last attacking player to touch.
Yep some of our younger players in particular could have sulked and moaned until halftime but not a bit of it. Encouraging signs given we haven't been very good so far today.
He played Diouf off, but Bailly was caught walking up and played him offside...then Bailly was weak and didn't get infront of his player who got goal side and into position to score the goal. Just stop.

Darmian was in line with Jones and Valencia. Bailly hung back and played the winger onside. Even if he was too high up a simple cross shouldn't result in a goal because the defender, Bailly, should have gotten there first.
He's a good header of the ball. Theres another one he scored in the league last season
After the first few games, it's hard not to look at Herrera and think what does he do, but we can't judge it on Stoke away! It's always a difficult game.
Haven't seen the replay, if Bailly was playing him on then maybe I'm harsh on Darmian.
