Surprised we didn't sure up the midfield a bit but still confident. Need the forwards to perform a lot better (well, the whole team actually)

Opportunity for the team and ETH to prove that this set up can work in the big games. Expect a few things to be tweaked tactically to at least avoid a similar performance to Monday

If Garnacho has a good start unlike the game against Wolves , we will have a good game.

Sancho probably has a right to feel aggrieved after looking pretty sharp against Wolves and in pre-season while Garnacho put in a shocker.

Really hope Garnacho turns up today. All of the Spurs right backs are poor defensively and we need to get at them down that side.
Why? He did nothing to suggest he should start.

If Sancho feels in any way aggrieved at the way the club or ETH have treated him in his United career, he can sincerely feck off and do one. And i'm saying this as someone who actually still rates him. But he's got a long way to go until he can complain about not getting picked in the starting lineup.
    We don't even know he's aggrieved ?
Maybe the gaffer explained to him he wants to use him as a super sub, maybe Sancho ain't fully fit yet, maybe he understands there's competition, maybe the players like each other ?
    It's been 2 games.

Why do people think ETH would change anything? It's like they project themselves or an image onto him or something.
The only expected change for most was for Garnacho to be used as impact subs instead of starter. Any need for two goalkeepers on the bench?

Everyone were malding themselves when Pep first turned up with his 2-5-3 also, or his midfield 3 of Fernandinho, Kdb and David Silva.

Why do we have 2 keepers on the bench? Squad stretched thin already or is Ten Hag asking for more money?

The fact that brighton are absolutely destroying wolves right now should tell you how poor we was Monday. Not sure if playing the same team will work in our favour. Would have liked to of seen sancho start.
Brighton will destroy anyone aside from City on their day.

We should be pleased Erik isn't changing system after one game, clearly he thinks this can work. I'm a bit less enthused about Garnacho keeping his place though.

The difference was most of their players were comfortable on the ball. When they got the ball, they knew how to keep it.

We will kick it long to Garnacho and cross our fingers.

Same 11.. Well the CM was non existent V wolves.. on the Man utd app... they've gone 4-1-4-1...formation?.. Casimero holding.. I don't know wtf is happening. I just hope ETH knows what he's doing ... let's see
My United app has the formation as 4-2-3-1.

Brighton hammering Wolves who should've beaten us. Not sure what to expect today but definitely not confident with that midfield 3 again.

Let's see if this midfield clicks else it could be a bad lost 3-0 to Spurs. I don't like to see Rashford as CF.

I'm not saying he does. Just that given that Garnacho maybe had his worst game in a United shirt and Rashford looked awful centrally as well, that he could easily feel he'd done enough to get himself a start this time with his cameo against Wolves and good performances in pre-season.

Not suggesting he has or should kick a stink up with the manager or anything like that at all. I hope the call is right and Garnacho tears them up.

Not confident in going with that same setup after last Monday. Could be in for a hiding if we allow Bissouma and Maddison the same freedom we allowed Wolves to run at our midfield.

It feels like one of those moments where the manager is trying to force the board's hand at a transfer that he needs.

ETH to change to what? Look at the dross that is our bench, I don't believe for one minute Sancho coming in will change anything either. Lose and it'll probably send a message to the board to get some freaking players in and get rid quickly.

The squad lacks depth in midfield and attack. This hasn't been addressed.

There's nothing to it. I was just responding to the notion that he has a right (and V.O. was being kind) to feel aggrieved because Garnacho had a stinker in the opening game of the season. How many times has Sancho let the club down? Anyway, ETH probably went with the "i give you the opportunity to redeem yourselves" logic for this one. I hope it works, otherwise it's going to be a very long Saturday night on the Caf.

No faith at all most of you. I'd hate to play in a team with you lot who bitch defeat before a ball is kicked.

Maybe support the fecking team and try to enjoy it instead of stoking your anxiety all the fecking time.

He could have bought better players for cheaper or promoted more talented players. He's spent 300 mil.

I don't see many people "bitching defeat". There's plenty of valid concern and criticism over the team selection and tactics, especially after last week's performance.

2 goalkeepers on the bench and the same team that made Wolves look good. Fantastic

I think players like Martial and Højlund are in his preferred XI but this is more or less what he considers his best team. I think he wants Bruno, Mount and Casemiro to work but it might not
