As bad as it sounds, it's just hard for players to give 110% every single game when they get passed off the park half the time. When they are set up really poorly. When the coach makes horrible decisions time after time. Players are supposed to go out there and run their socks off.... but when the opposition handles that unorganized press period with ease, it's incredibly demotivating for all of them. You can't just run around without a plan, but thats how we do it. The mentality with our group is/was fine for a long time. They go into a game all motivated. A smart coach picks them off with ease. Team gradually gets demotivated as a result of horrible tactics/instructions because the instructions just don't work.
Hard for every single game yes but how many games have these players gave 110% this season and surely for big Derby games at home it's the least to expect.

I recall Conte remarking as Chelsea manager that players with bad attitudes will bring the team down, he'd prefer to kill those type of players than fix it he said.

Ole better not be manager for this because if he wins we'll hear some shite about our improvement

Prediction. No new manager. Tired team turn out and hope Ronaldo can get a winner. Trouble is, Ronaldo is injured so it’s a defeat to lowly Watford. The Glazers respond by giving Ole another new contract because he needs time to get the players. We are a laughing stock. The once glorious Manchester United stuttering from defeat to defeat to a jammy win to a defeat. Europa League for us again this season unless something dramatic happens.

I'd love to see something so profound and far away from current standards as legit football tactic.

Plenty of time during the break to read educational books and start once again from basics since the competitive season is over for this team.

If Ole is still in charge I hope they cause an upset. I'm so done.

I have a strong feeling we'll lose this one, especially if Ole is still in charge.
Watford will be motivated by how crap we are and play out of their skins.

After that, we're away at Chelsea !

After the embarrassing loss to City, Utd have only gained 4 points out of the last 18.
    It could get much worst.

    I‘d like to see,

    …………………De Gea
    AWB….Lindelof…Maguire….Telles
    ………..Fred………..VDB
    Sancho…..Bruno…….Rashford

    ……………..Ronaldo

Shaw has to dropped, he’s been awful this year, so has Maguire but I’m not a Bailly fan so he stays in till Varane is back.

The McFred axis has been awful this season so I’ll keep Fred cause he at least runs where as McT jogs.

Was tempted to drop Bruno tbh, he’s become very petulant and forcing his play, he needs to keep it simple.

Ole has been playing with a 3 man midfield of late, so continue with that but get the wingers back into the team

    4141

    Ronaldo
    Rashford Fred Bruno Sancho
    McTominay
    Shaw Maguire Lindelof Wan-Bissaka
    De Gea

We’ll win & the same old posters will be acting as if Ole reinvented the wheel in 2 weeks, telling people 3 points against Watford isn’t easy.

One of McFred will have a half decent game & their performance thread will be a frenzy with I told you so’s.

If we win this game with Ole in charge that saves his job once again.

So while a win will be great really it'll be shite for us.

At lot would argue for Greenwood over Sancho which I get but I think Greenwood is still learning and should replace Ronaldo in games when possible. Sancho needs a run of games on the right otherwise he’ll just become another squad player.

Sancho looks like the one who understands the wing play so I want him to be integrated in the team with a good run of games..I started seeing him play well after few games but he had to sit on bench again for various reasons. Hopefully Ole have faith on players like Sancho/Donny who keeps the posession well.

I wish he did but can’t see him doing it, he’ll stick with his ‘trusted’ players who have also been letting him down. As badly coached as they are some of the individual mistakes made by international class players are disgraceful.

This is a must win. I don't know what to expect really. I would like to see Sancho play. Watford must fancy this, Utd are on the ropes. I am trying to think positively but it is difficult.

Looks good to me. Obviously there's a lot more to it than personnel and the players need to up their effort or be told they are out.

Watford have found some form lately so this won’t be easy. But it would be classic Ole for him to bounce back with a yuge result in this one. 2-2

Firstly, Zidane or whoever has to be manager. Anyone but Ole, Carrick or Fletcher. Then, we need to move to an attacking 4-3-3. Change the system up and drop the underperforming players.

    DDG
    AWB Bailly Lindelof Telles
    Matic
    Bruno VdB
    Sancho Cavani Ronaldo

0-3 win if it’s a new manager. More of the same, 1-0 loss.

Yeah agreed, some of the mistakes made this season have been disgraceful from seasoned international players.
