Klopp's comments may have been playing on refs' minds. Since then, we've had Maguire's goal ruled out and Fred's non-penalty - both stonewall. Kevin Friend was the ref for Maguire's non-goal and the VAR for the Fred non-penalty. I don't know what's up with him but I hope Ole comes out on this...

This. Why do refs always fall for it. Their integrity is questioned and that turns out to be advantageous to the person who does it. Lampard did it before the semifinal and it worked a treat
