  1. Alternatives for Frenkie De Jong

The loss of Gnabry was Wenger's fault. He was sent out on loan to West Brom. where Tony Pulis of all people, pronounced him not good enough! When he returned, Wenger seemed reluctant to play him. Donyell Malen has a natural eye for a goal, and was always highly regarded, but couldn't see his...
  2. Alternatives for Frenkie De Jong

I was sorry Arsenal let him go. He has since matured into a talented player, but I suppose you cannot keep all of your promising youngsters.
  3. Frenkie de Jong | The last muppeting lap

And FDJ would prefer the Europey to the CL?
  4. Frenkie de Jong | The last muppeting lap

Unfortunately, at no time has the player ever said he want's to come. All he has said is that he wants to remain at Barca, the club he always dreamt of playing for. If he goes anywhere, it will be to a team in the Champions League.
  5. Dean Henderson | Nottingham Forest loan watch

Better hope he stays fit then.
  6. Dean Henderson | Nottingham Forest loan watch

So presumably you're quite happy with De Gea. That's good news for the rest of us.
  7. Sir Jim Ratcliffe: I want to buy Manchester United | Will make a bid for the club [Telegraph]

So you would rather the (hypothetical) new owners bought the club with their own money, then be sparing with transfer funds, than loading the debt on the club, then spending hundred's of millions on transfers, just like the Glazers.
  8. Dean Henderson | Nottingham Forest loan watch

Should have kept Henderson and sold De Gea. Am I to understand that because he criticised the club management, Henderson is deemed by many United fans as surplus to requirements.
  9. Dean Henderson | Nottingham Forest loan watch

Henderson has been his own worst enemy; and his aching desire to play for United, has been his downfall. He allowed himself to be persuaded by Ole that he would get a fair crack at the no. 1 spot, but covid intervened and afterwards De Gea kept his place. The player should have spent last...
  10. Sir Jim Ratcliffe: I want to buy Manchester United | Will make a bid for the club [Telegraph]

It's a complete pipe dream. The club looks good on the Glazer's Balance Sheet, and that is all that really matters to them. They don't want/have to sell, but they know that if they did, there would be a queue round the block of potential buyers.
  11. Protest planned ahead of the Liverpool game

They don't feel any pressure. Supporters of most other clubs would think they had died and gone to heaven if their club has spent the prodigious amount of money United has spent on players.
  12. Will SAF use this moment to speak up?

The guy nearly died and we should be thankful he is still with us. Doubtless at board level he offers advice, and would offer advice to anyone if asked, but he should be allowed to enjoy his horses and his comfortable retirement without being asked to criticise either management or players.
  13. Transfer Speculation - “Drives high level of interaction..”

Forget about signing the superstars with their super-sized egos. The club need to properly asses the playing staff, and see who needs replacing, and which players need shipping out pronto. You just know that were Pep to be in charge, all the deadwood would have been long gone. For a...
  14. Michael Knighton preparing a hostile bid to remove the Glazers

Could have bought United for £10m but his backers/partners got cold feet. How stupid do they feel now. I bet Knighton has been suffering agonies ever since.
  15. Our recruiting strategy is good for where we are at.

5 Malacias = 1 FJD? Are we talking feet and inches here?
