  1. Qatari Government to buy Spurs?

ESPN article says that since Qatar already own PSG, only one club would be allowed to participate in europe according to UEFA regulations. http://www.espnfc.com/barclays-premier-league/story/2203168/qatar-keen-to-buy-premier-league-clubsports-minister-reveals
  2. Mata | Mourinho says it's just a Mata of time

Next summer, Rooney will be nearly 30, and I don't see him maturing particularly well into his thirties to be honest. I wouldn't get too excited about it. I'm also fairly confident he will stay in Manchester at any rate.
  3. ALL issues relating to the bond issue and club finances

I think the gross debt figures fluctuate with the exchange rate, maybe that's why it looks like the gross debt has risen. But we have a lot more money in the bank than last year and massive profits increase so it looks quite healthy overall.
  4. ALL issues relating to the bond issue and club finances

Manchester United: 2013 Fourth Quarter and Full Year Results It looks like our finanical results for the year were announced this morning. http://online.wsj.com/article/PR-CO-20130918-903852.html
  5. Priorities 2013/14

This year was all about winning the title back. Next year we should be aiming to win a cup as well.
  6. Tiers of Greatness

Ronaldinho and Kaka are too high considering how badly they faded mid-career. Fat Ronaldo probably should be in the second tier rather than the top tier due to injuries and fitness issues. Henry is a tier too high also. Otherwise I would say a decent effort!
  7. Nick Powell

Fergie once gave a quote to the effect that he never likes to start inexperienced youngsters or give them their debut in high pressure matches or situations. The reason he gave was that if the pressure got to the young player and he made a mistake, it would be held in the harshest limelight...
  8. Tom Cleverley | 2012-14 Performances

Cleverley's main downfall is that whilst he can be a very good distributer of the ball, he doesn't seem to be able to dominate a match in the way the very best midfielders can. He will never be able to dicate the pace of a game the same way for example that Scholes or Xavi have been able to...
  9. The obsession with young players in football

Mainly because people want to see that 16 year old academy player develop into a world class superstar before their eyes. Also footballers careers don't last long so the quicker they get started the better..
  10. Late bloomers in football

Sheringham started late and finished late
  11. Rafael da Silva | 2010-14 Performances

Rafael has been great going forward this season for sure, but I think a lot of people are overlooking his defensive flaws. The third goal we conceded yesterday and which killed us off was down to the fact that he was out of position, so Rio had to cover him, which dragged Ferdinand out of...
  12. So, these Financial Fair Play rules then...

I think a salary cap would be a great idea, but only if it's introduced across all UEFA member countries, rather than just England. Otherwise the Premier League would no longer be able to attract the best talent.
  13. Should we fear City??

A lot of their players look burnt out from last season IMO. Silva looks a shadow of himself and Kompany doesn't look as assured as last season. Added to the fact that they haven't bought particularly well and they look a lot weaker than last season to me. Toure and Tevez have carried them...
  14. Kurt Zouma

I believe he has the teen spirit we have been lacking.
