I'm not saying Brentan is a genius! Far from it. But if he plays Coutinho and Lallana against us it will be game on. Sayin that, I still think we have better players and a better manager so should win this.

Don't forget that one of the reasons they were so shite tonight was because Brentan rested Lallana and Coutinho for our game.

I think there has been a lack of pace in the team overall. Di Maria helps resolve that problem. The issue for Mata, RVP and Rooney has been the lack of creativity and stability in the rest of the team. To scapegoat those 3 is a little harsh.

In this instance I think he's running off balance even before the contact so no simulation whatsoever this time. His history is what hurts us.

I'm concerned that if we do lose this our confidence will hit the floor! However I'm hoping that the Swansea result was just a blip after a strong pre-season and we smash a few goals in today and kick on for the season!

The injuries are a big issue but surely I'm not being overly optimistic thinking we should win this game. Cleverley and Fletcher in midfield. Evans, Rafael and RVP should be back and we now have LVG at the helm! As long as we don't pick up anymore injuries we should be OK.
