  1. Bryan Mbeumo | Ornstein: Player favours United - pending clubs reaching financial agreement

True, and I suspect a number 9 is also on the cards this window. That said, if we've looked at the striker market and concluded there's little value/no guarantee of an improvement on what we've got, then going with options like Mbuemo and Cunha make sense. It would allow us to play a rotating...
  2. Jadon Sancho | Ornstein: Chelsea transfer falls through | Romano: Not expected to stay at United

Hmm you could probably take away every minute Sancho has played all season and Chelsea would have ended up in exactly the same position. Absolutely zero impact. A totally ineffectual player.
  3. Jadon Sancho | Ornstein: Chelsea transfer falls through | Romano: Not expected to stay at United

Shame he's the one player they chose not to hoard really
  4. Jadon Sancho | Ornstein: Chelsea transfer falls through | Romano: Not expected to stay at United

Jim must be fuming. 24 hours ago it looked like Sancho and Bruno would rake us in £125m - now it's just £5m and Sancho back on the books. Expect Mbuemo links to cool for now sadly. Sidenote - this must be excruciatingly embassy for Sancho. Does he have any supporters left here? Remember him...
  5. Jadon Sancho | Ornstein: Chelsea transfer falls through | Romano: Not expected to stay at United

He is surely Turkey or Saudi bound? Please. Anywhere.
  6. Bruno Fernandes Out? | Staying at Man United

    Ineos fuming
  7. Bryan Mbeumo | Ornstein: Player favours United - pending clubs reaching financial agreement

Any indication of what Brentford will ask for? Can't remember them selling a star player before
  8. Bryan Mbeumo | Ornstein: Player favours United - pending clubs reaching financial agreement

I don't want to write him off too soon and he's definitely an interesting left-field (in every sense) addition who adds something different. The major problem so far has been his total lack of anything even resembling an end product. For all his pace and power he seems technically way off it at...
  9. Bryan Mbeumo | Ornstein: Player favours United - pending clubs reaching financial agreement

Mbuemo and Cunha behind a proper number 9 with overlapping wingbacks is very strong. Problem is we lack the number 9 and the wingbacks. And Mbuemo.
  10. Post-season matches in Asia

    This is the real quiz
  11. Viktor Gyökeres

Do you think? I'm going mainly off what I've seen in the CL but I thought Nunez looked far more dangerous/all round threatening. He was immense v prime Klopp Liverpool - better all round display than anything I've seen from Gyokeres v City or Arsenal
  12. Viktor Gyökeres

I think the demands of a striker in the Portuguese league are night and day compared with the premier league. He doesn't look better than Nunez did at Benfica and look how he's turned out over here. He's better than what we've got and would showcase our support for Amorim but I'm not convinced...
