  1. Dayot Upamecano

I'm sure we'll be 'monitoring the situation closely' and 'considering a bid'....
  2. Centre Back... Who do we go for?

Must admit, I thought the whole 'David Alaba to leave Bayern' to be nothing more than a bit of spin, didn't seriously think he'd leave, a deal was always going to be agreed..... But, apparently yet another round of talks has collapsed and he is free to agree a pre-contract in January. What a...
  3. Alternatives to Jadon Sancho

Definately. That's £50m quid gambled on those two, there won't be any additional movement at RW for a good few years now. I read this morning that United are interested in Adama Traore for £90m....
  4. Erling Haaland or Jadon Sancho?

Fact is though, it's very unlikely that either of these two will ever play for United, nice to enjoy the fantasy though.
  5. Dayot Upamecano

Yeah, apparently Woodward over ruled the advice of Rio Ferdinand. Hindsight is a wonderful thing....
  6. Potential Matic Replacements

Personally, I don't see it that way, Neves would come in to compliment Pogba & Bruno, bringing a bit more balance and tenacity, and freeing Pogba up a bit more.
  7. Potential Matic Replacements

I think Neves would be absolutely ideal for us in that deep role. He is one of those players whose performances go under the radar, but I think he is an outstanding talent.
  8. Erling Haaland or Jadon Sancho?

I'd go for Sancho. Factoring in longevity and the balance it would give to our attack, a proper creative and goal scoring RW is absolutely essential, we haven't really had one since Nani...!! Haaland would bugger off in a couple of years I reckon, and if that's the case, we might just have well...
  9. January....

I think Neves would be absolutely superb for us, and he is still only 23 now, long term signing.
  10. Phil Jones and Sergio Romero omitted from United's 25-man Premier League squad

I think the treatment of Romero has been a bad joke, but an hilarious joke is that United want £20M for Calamity Jones....:lol::lol:
  11. Our managers actually are being backed.

Haaland went to Dortmund for €20m Euro, and Woodward pulled the plug because Haaland wanted a release clause inserted to kick in 2022. Instead we had that last day scramble eventually getting Ighalo. At worst we could have had Haaland for two years and quadrupled our outlay in two years time. If...
  12. Our managers actually are being backed.

Does anyone actually believe that this club is being run professionally and efficiently? Do you feel that Woodward's team are competent in transfer windows? I get a feeling that some are quite satisfied...
  13. Our managers actually are being backed.

It's nothing like that at all mate, because most of Ole's targets were readily available and were attainable to an even semi competent board.
  14. Our managers actually are being backed.

Well, the board managed to sign one of them...
  15. Our managers actually are being backed.

There is more to "backing the Manager" than just randomly throwing money about. It means supporting the manager's philosophy, as far as realistically possible, and providing him with all needs/wants, again, as far as realistically possible. Solskjaer's (generally accepted) shopping list of...
