    I honestly don't Amorim has had much choice. Chido doesn't look ready (and look at the doomsaying in the Amass thread to see why it's rarely good to rush youngsters) and Zirkzee, for all his qualities, is anything but clinical (and was much better playing in one of the 10 positions.)

    Well I’ve never met him, but him captaining Ajax as a teenager coupled with what you see in the pitch: working his socks off, cajoling/encouraging teammates all point to a good leader.

    I feel we’ve missed the leadership qualities of De Ligt. A few months back he was performing very well, and despite Maguire’s Euro heroics, I think we’ve missed De Ligt.
