Yeah. This was always going to be a development tour for us. Now we've got two good young spinners who we can move forward with. Let's see what happens in four years' time with no Ashwin or Jadeja.

Getting strong Lara vibes from Jaiswal. Will he bat 3 or 4 later on in his career? Best players rarely open.

It's also the fact that England's bowling attack isn't up to it. Need a reboot for the home summer.

Yeah, that's how I see it. Think I said at the start of the tour - we should see this as a development opportunity for our spinners, who've performed really well. Throwing forward to our next tour of India, Crawley, Pope and Brook should all...

Didn't realise he'd dropped one. Since that 50 he's had an absolute shocker. No runs, no wickets and a drop. Think I might be looking to move on from him at the end of the series (would be great if he proves me wrong tomorrow though).

Think there's a bigger issue around our lack of out and out pace bowlers, but hopefully that will get fixed with all the young ones coming through.

The fact that we're opening the bowling with Joe Root shows how well we've done to keep it this close.

Since Ashwin was out this time yesterday, it couldn't really have gone any worse for England could it.

Didn't think that was a very smart innings from Foakes to be honest. He was always going to get a delivery with his name on it, so maybe it would have been bitter to try swiping a few boundaries while he was in.

Yeah. At the end of the day, we're missing one of our best batsmen, our most experienced finger spinner, our brilliant young wrist-spinner and our fastest bowler, who presumably couldn't play this game. We're relying on two kids, one of whom...

We've got to change the momentum somehow. Just prodding and poking is going to do nothing, other than tiring the pitch out for a few overs. Still think we've got a big chance. Feel like picking Robinson rather than a quicker seamer might come...

Did we drop any chances or bowl poorly? If so, hard to say we've thrown it away isn't it. All three innings have followed a similar narrative really.

Yeah I think Hartley is in now for that very reason. They'll all get plenty of game time with injuries, rotation and the need to play two spinners. Plus Rehan may end up batting in the top six.

Giving an over to Jaiswal is a poor call by Rohit. Every run will be precious on this pitch.

Even if they get a lead of, say, 50, they're going to have to bat last. I think ENG are in a great position, without wishing to jinx anything.
