  1. Premier League Gameweek 34-35

Liverpool can't play that badly again, just so flat. West Ham haven't been great either but then our gameplan as per normal is to absorb pressure and hit on breaks/set pieces. It's worked so far but I just can't imagine liverpool being so flat again.
  2. The Rise Of Ruben Amorim

We are I'm theory on that group below the too 6. If you look at the finances it's quite the gulf between them.and the rest, though Newcastle will probably slot into the middle if that gulf thanks to the champions league they had this year. Still we comfortably conform to the ffp rules both old...
  3. VAR and Refs | General Discussion | Forest go into meltdown

The honest truth is the ref/var have been real weak all season. I think every club has basically had at least one huge howler. My own club had a pen denied against Sheffield United when it was 2-2 at the death. Bowen was literally rugby tackled into the ground and because it hit his hand a free...
  4. Europa League / Conference League 23/24

Honestly this has been a very impressive performance against the German champions. I can't ask for more than this. There is definately a more pressing style than normal, which makes sense given the context of the match. I doubt BL will be as bad though in the 2nd half.
  5. Deadline Day 2023

The idea is to have a solid three in M/F and then an interchangeable fluid front 3, all of whom is capable of scoring. Its basically Liverpool (lite!) formation during the mid Klopp years with Salah, Firminho and Mane providing goals, movement across the front and creativity but three much more...
  6. Deadline Day 2023

Disaster of a window is all I Will say. Phillips needs a bit of time but wasn't upto much on his debit. As for selling the two lads, why in all that is right with the world are we thinning out an already fairly shallow squad hugely lacking in depth of quality with no one coming in. We are...
  7. Premier League Gameweek 21

Thought the Sheffield utd decision was soft but probably fair enough. The Bowen incident was a disgrace of a decision though, I'm fuming over that, rugby tackled but not even to var. Useless reffing
  8. David Moyes West Ham Manager (Again) | European Champion

100% agree. I'd also argue he was trying to accommodate Rice desire to become a more complete midfielder rather than pure DM which forced Soucek into that role Instead which he hasn't really got the passing for, especially when he was sat back alone. The formation did shift back in the 2nd half...
  9. Jarrod Bowen

Given he has a 7 year contract it will be Rice level of money that would be required to lure him away. I doubt many would be prepared to go to that level. Funnily enough Weat Ham front line at the moment is starting to show some similarities to that front liverpool (interchangeable players...
  10. Post match vs West Ham United

Its not happened many if any times that I can remember as a West Ham fan, but we legitimately have a far superior front three/four than Manchester United. And it shows in the output this season.
  11. Sir Bobby Charlton has died

Absolute legend. His death is tradegy for all football fans, regardless of colour of the shirt
  12. Club Sale | It’s done!

The Glaziers know there is at least a fair chance of some sort of deal coming down the line, be it a shift in the TV revenue models, or a super league, or just evolution of modern football comps, but the chances are at least decent that something big happens, especially now Saudi are throwing...
  13. Club Sale | It’s done!

And if there is any club inb the Prem that doesn't need the oil money to be succesful it would be Manchester United. Lets be honest, a debt free Man Utd ran by a board that actually invests more than a packet of crisps value into the facilities/stadium should make more than enough money to be...
  14. Club Sale | It’s done!

The Glaziers are probably only to happy to give the reins over to someone else, they can just keep taking their dividends for even less effort than today and Sir Jim can become the figure head who becomes the 'face' of the club. Ultimately I think the Glaziers will let Jim do whatever he needs...
  15. Club Sale | It’s done!

You can understand why to some extent, there are other clubs in the prem/Europe who will cost a fraction of what Man Utd will do who you can build upto the level of a Man Utd (at least financially) over a 10-20 year project and still have change left over.
