Mourinho is trying to force him to learn the defensive side I think. Like others said a midfield of pogba, Herrera and Pereira would be sexy. All it needs now is a flying left full back that would overlap and the team would be set.

He can't play as a wing back. His main move is to cut inside and he won't maintain width. We need players with the power to run outside and put in a cross. Lingard has pace but he doesn't trust himself to go outside most of the time.

I can't be the only one who questions what's the point of him running from the left flank and all the way across to the right without going forward. He does that a couple of times last season as well. Of course, he looks good since he is good with the tippy tappy stuff, movement and ball...

Would you guys want him with a trade deal involving darmian? For me, I wouldn't want darmian to go as we don't have many natural full backs in the squad. I would rather see young to go, since he is pretty much like to like to perisic (both are naturally wingers) but that is not going to happen.

His passing is quite dodgy eh, like he could feed lukaku on one occasion (from the left) but he messed it up. Wonder if it's a concentration issue. His finishing though is very good, particularly with his right.

Judging from the YouTube comps, he seems very 'clean' technically, like his footwork is always assured and on point. Which is actually very nice to look at. Maybe because he is two footed and not afraid to cut either way. Only negative is his age but imo in our team he would be unique. Similar...
