The warning signs were there when Ed refused to sign Perisic. You either back Mourinho or you don't, and if you have no intention of signing 29 years old's for £50m, then why employ Mourinho FFS...?

I completely agree, the board should give Mourinho what he wants and forget resale value, if they aren't willing to do that then they should never have employed him in the first place.

Far better to be pessimistic and pleasantly surprised than walk around thinking "this is our year" and lose to Sweden - also the points you made in your prevision post regarding our performances were spot on IMO. We've been slightly better than average in open play.
