  1. Who replaces Ten Hag?

It makes no sense to sack ETH until the new management is in place unless we are in a relegation battle in the new year. If there’s one thing I learned from Ole’s beginning and ending as manager, it’s that sacking the manager without a plan to move forward is a huge mistake. And that doesn’t...
  2. Who replaces Ten Hag?

I read the headline, but not the article. Why in the world would Ancelotti want to come into such a mess at this point in his career? Even if/when Real Madrid fires him, retirement or getting into the international game sounds a lot more appealing.
  3. Who replaces Ten Hag?

The point is that all managers need a certain amount of structure backing them. Ten Hag would’ve been rightfully hailed as a genius had his transfers worked out because it’s near impossible for managers to do that. even pep and Klopp only have a certain amount of input over transfers. I will...
  4. So after all the concern, how do you rate our squad’s midfield?

Casemiro and Eriksen are aging. I don’t think they’ll be as useful this season as they were last season. Bruno is talented but inefficient at times, which makes it difficult to find the right fit for him. Most of the rest are just average to me. Mount has not impressed. And some can claim it’s...
  5. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

I don’t dispute your criticisms. I’m simply saying that criticizing them for not spending enough on transfers is misguided. We buy expensive players all the time and put them on monstrous wages. The issue is the lack of a plan in terms of identifying talent and making sure it fits with the...
  6. Erik ten Hag - Manchester United manager

The Glazers are awful, but that’s because they haven’t hired quality football people to manage the club’s operations, despite a decade of post-SAF evidence to show how badly it’s needed. Pure financial support for the squad has not been an issue, even if they’ve taken millions out of the club.
  7. Post match vs Tottenham Hotspur

This is an awful take, but Rashford really isn’t very good as a center forward. Playing him there instead of left wing is a terrible idea, regardless of what other options are available at center forward.
  8. Messi in Miami

That was a very impressive goal.
  9. Messi in Miami

MLS games are often played in the heat because the league runs through the summer. The general trend has been for attackers, particularly those who don’t rely on pace, to do well, while plenty of midfielders have been more likely to struggle. Robbie Keane and David Villa both did well. in...
  10. Moises Caicedo | Chelsea agree £115M fee | signed for Chelsea

I was going to say that, too. Also, being almost three years younger, he will retain his sell-on value longer, or they’ll just get more years out of him. With that said, no transfer is a sure thing. Plenty of busts in the 100 million club.
  11. Messi in Miami

Yeah that’s the fear on the usmnt message boards. At least the US should be able to offer him a quicker route to playing time. That helped a lot with balogun and Musah. Cremaschi is maybe the happiest person in the world that Messi came there. Argentine, his hero, gets to play with and learn...
  12. Messi in Miami

Cremaschi is an Argentine/US dual nat, but he was born and raised in the Miami area. He’s one of the US’ top players from the 2005 cohort, but he’s spent time with both countries’ youth squads, so I’m a bit concerned about keeping him.
  13. Messi in Miami

Tore his acl in 2020 and hasn’t been the same since.
  14. Messi in Miami

I mostly agree, but Martino is a huge upgrade over Neville though.
  15. Messi in Miami

He’s awful. He reffed the US-Mexico nations league game back in June that led to 2 red cards for both teams. And it was entirely down to his mismanagement of the game.
