As a lot of others have said, I don't think this can actually happen...but if it did, would it be Mourinho's RVP moment? Get a player in for 2-3 years who guarantees goals, accepting that there is no resale value? How important is immediate success to Mou and Woody?

Fairly pleased. The players were unable to stick to the game plan against City, which is why today was a big test. As a team, we have taken on Jose's style and instructions well. With a bit of luck and a bit more form for a few select players and we could have shaded it. Onwards and upwards!

My theory about Pogba having his medical in LA is that he was always planning on going there for the last few days of his holiday anyway, and will have his medical whilst he's there rather than cut his holiday short to do the medical at Carrington.

I wouldn't be surprised if Woody did a deal with Raiola where he would get x for Zlatan, y for Mikhi, z for Pogba, and an extra amount on top if he gets all three. Raiola would get the same fee wherever he puts his players, but it feels like he is extra motivated to get all three in a Utd shirt...

In my view, it all comes down to money and how we spend it. Currently, the richest organisation in English football is the Premier League, and they committed to put £1bn of the new TV deal into the football community, but that only equates to £100m a year for actual grassroots. That is a start...
