  1. The general attitude of our players

Certainly did not look like this at the start of the season. Wonder what changed?
  2. The general attitude of our players

There were no morale issues under Ole before this fall. In fact, it was markedly improved from the Moyes, LvG and Mou-eraes. The clearest indication was that there were no leaks to the press.
  3. The general attitude of our players

I agree. Things looked on the up until his first start. Bought because "City wanted him", just like Alexis and Fred. This is the worst I have seen of United in over 30 years.
  4. Jose Mourinho | Sacked by Roma

Yeah, but they also scored a goal that was an obvious offside.
  5. Newcastle United now owned by the PIF | PL receives "legally binding assurances that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will not control NUFC" ;)

Definitely. One would also think the whole point of national teams was to let, you know, nations and states compete against each other. Pretty good article here if you want to understand more about why the emirates and Saudis investment in football.
  6. Internationals October (World Cup Qualifiers + Nations League Finals)

I haven't had much enthusiasm towards landslaget since, I don't know, early 2000's, but went to the game tonight and it was fun. There is finally something to build on, and there seems to be a good combination of rejuvenated players, up-and-coming players and big talents like Ødegaard and Braut...
  7. Why so many knee-jerk reactions and negativity 7 games in?

You need defensive players in your CM when your fullbacks are pushing up. Klopp also plays a workman-like midfield with fullbacks pushing up. I can't see him getting any stick for it.
  8. Why so many knee-jerk reactions and negativity 7 games in?

Not so much trying to defend. More trying to be hopeful and supportive, while putting together patterns that support it. Players usually play worse when their stamina is down. There might be two reasons for that: They are in a really bad shape because of lack of fitness training, or they are...

It was 20 years ago, and he was the biggest earning player in the world. 95 000 pounds a week, which contributed to the club going bankrupt. Edit: Was catching up on the thread, and did not see the other reply.
  10. Why so many knee-jerk reactions and negativity 7 games in?

Starting "bad" is certainly a pattern with him. It might be OGS is "sacrificing" the start of the season to make the team reach peak fitness around Christmas and keep going till the end. I remember him telling the press that "pre-season lasts until the international break" at the start of his...
  11. Why so many knee-jerk reactions and negativity 7 games in?

PSG just lost 2-0 to Rennes, and won just one of the ten games they went a man down last season. City went from 2-0 to 2-3 against Brighton last season after going down to ten men. Chelsea lost 5-2 to WBA last season. At home. With one man down for an hour. Liverpool for some reason got no red...
  12. Peter Schmeichel’s stint at Sporting Lisbon

Berg was signed after being a key player for the Blackburn team that won the league in 95. Hardly a random signing, even though he never became more than a good squad player.
  13. I see the 'ABU' Media are back in full voice...

This. My Chelsea and Liverpool-supporting friends (no one I know support City, go figure) have started cheking out Uniteds next fixtures again, while calling every United victory "lucky". I wonder why?
  14. Teams you dislike without having a reason to do so

Schutzstaffel Lazio should be pretty far right.
