  • Our standards have slipped so hard that a lot of people got accustomed to not expecting anything decent. Yes some players are underperforming, but the job of a manager is to get the best of what he has, and this is what ETH had when he joined...
  • It wasn't, but he did better than ETH that's for sure.
  • Someone replied to the thread Who replaces Ten Hag?.
Alonso or Nagelsmann in the summer.
  • He has failed. You can't objectively say otherwise. This is the worst we've played post fergie. Even at our best, we never really dominate or play convincingly. We're so poorly coached, and every man and his dog puts us under immense pressure...

    We've been clueless.

Our setup upfront is terrible. why change everything.
  • Someone replied to the thread Marcus Rashford (Out).
I honestly don't think Rashford is a hot commodity at the moment. I wouldn't want us to invest in a player who has been inconsistent through out his career. It's not as if we're going to sell on the cheap, and he'd also demand high wages anywhere...

I doubt we'll be getting bids for either to be honest, or even Sancho for that matter. In that sense if there's a chance to sell any player we don't want to keep, we should sell.

It's a complex issue so we don't know who to blame here. But it's not normal and I hope that the new management are looking into this. I don't remember from memory a similar season to this one.
  • We're stuck with him even if we accept a low bid. He isn't gonna give up his massive salary and no one will even come close to it. He'll likely try to get another loan where we end up paying most of his wages.
  • Seems to be on the wrong trajectory in his career, and too problematic for us.
  • Same here. It felt for me that he was trying to reset the narrative around the subject, after Arnold made it clear that it's in the best interest of the club that he moves somewhere else. I'm not surprised, because while SJRs might be saying...
  • Surprised that so many people still can't comprehend the impact his return would have on United. We aren't like other clubs as far as media attention goes, the circus will be in town for months none stop. Extreme disruption internally and...
  • Weird that he's our most composed player. Never panics. Really love the guy.
  • A bit wasteful today but still worked his socks off. As others mentioned we shouldn't expect consistency at this age.
