    Between episodes I decided to rewatch the first season. The growth in the connection during season 1 between Joel and Ellie means she absolutely would just go for it. Both from her impetuous nature and the need for revenge of the loss of that relationship.

    Im with you on this. The game needs to be thought of in different terms from the show even though the show tries to follow the game there have to be differences. I absolutely loved the game but understand the show has to work in a different way so really dont care about changes.

    One of the group is a doctor and she has a major plot function later. I hadnt thought of how clunky it must have seemed to someone who hasnt played the game, fair point. However she does have a relevance to the story.
