  1. Mark Geiger - Referee

i thought he was fine tbh - can’t blame him for the Columbia player’s dirty tactics and the way that they moaned about every decision when they were clear fouls. Columbia should have had a red card for the headbutt but that was VAR who made the decision so can’t blame him there.
  2. Neymar Jr | PSG | 2017/2018 performances

I always felt he was overrated but he has been truly underwhelming in this World Cup. He had a lot of chances today but managed to cock them up. Also don’t like the way he holds his face every time he goes down and then he’s miraculously back up in seconds - although that seems to be every...
  3. Loris Karius appreciation thread

Because it’s an identical situation and he couldn’t deal with it when he was at 100%. If it was a mistake as you said, then what reason is there to suggest this wasn’t another mistake? I think it’s just a weakness of his.
  4. Pogba and Kouyate the 'athletic specimens'| Media stereotypes Part II

I think you’re making it up, in this case at least. Both players are clearly very athletic, what’s wrong with stating that? Is it wrong to speak about how strong somebody is because of the colour of their skin? The commentator did not mention anything regarding their ethnicity - I think you’ve...
  5. Champions League Quarter Finals (3rd - 11th April)

Everything breaks down when it gets to Sterling. His lack of technical ability sticks out like a sore thumb in this City team.
  6. Sky: Spurs appeal to FA to award the second goal against Stoke City to Harry Kane | Spurs win appeal

I thought he touched it in a couple of the clips I’ve seen but it’s one of those where it depends on the angle. If Spurs want to appeal it then I don’t have a problem - it may well be given to him.
  7. Morata for Lukaku straight swap would you take it?

I think he would be a better fit and would take the swap. My biggest criticisms of Lukaku are his movement and technique. Morata is better at these things and I also think that United would be able to get more out of other attacking players with him over Lukaku.
  8. A serious look at Mauricio Pochettino

I feel like you are being a little harsh on Poch. Spurs are capable of winning things, as is any club to an extent, but at the same time the United, City and Chelsea squads are more capable of winning them than Spurs. These 3 teams have always been far more likely winners than Spurs in the...
  9. Christian Benteke

Is there an opportunity this guy can’t miss? Every week he seems to completely screw up what should be a sitter. I thought he would have met Chelsea’s brief for a target man this January given that they were seriously interested in Andy Carroll but then I found out he’s only scored 2 goals in...
  10. RAWK Goes Into Lockdown 2017/20-18 Edition | LOLis Karius

I thought Lamela was fairly close to the ball, I mean he must have been because he was closer than VVD and VVD was trying to kick the ball...
  11. Manchester City under Pep Guardiola | Pep on City v Liverpool ref: "He likes to be special"

Not really, those people are blowing it out of all proportion when all I’m saying is that it’s neglible. The reason they are making a big deal out of it is to have a go at Pep. I’m sure they will get over it. Moyes did it a couple of weeks ago and nobody cared.
  12. Manchester City under Pep Guardiola | Pep on City v Liverpool ref: "He likes to be special"

That's a moot point. How can a player score the winner when they have no chance of playing in the match? To cover injuries/change of tactics/fatigue etc. however City had obviously planned to play the full 90 and had each position covered. Furthermore, there is no obligation to have 7...
  13. Manchester City under Pep Guardiola | Pep on City v Liverpool ref: "He likes to be special"

What would the player have offered over the empty spot when they are not going to play? You're reading in to it far too much and clearly see it as him making some sort of statement. As somebody else mentioned in the thread, he did this numerous times at Bayern and quite rightly nobody cared.
  14. Manchester City under Pep Guardiola | Pep on City v Liverpool ref: "He likes to be special"

Not trying to be dramatic, maybe it was the words I used. Gary Nevil was in hysterics. The same reaction is shared not just on here but other websites, keen to make a big deal out of nothing. For example these posts were OTT and just spiteful:
  15. Manchester City under Pep Guardiola | Pep on City v Liverpool ref: "He likes to be special"

I don't understand why people are losing their minds over a six man bench - What's the difference in having an extra player there when they aren't going to play? I don't like Pep but this just seems to be a poor excuse to have a go at him. What great experience it would be for a young player to...
