Seems like a bad idea given how much he improved after hiring a short game coach!

I'm out of the loop but what the hell has happened to Hovland? He looked completely unstoppable at the end of last year.

Definitely agree. He looks a million times more relaxed than he did last year when the pressure clearly got to him. Think his up and down on the first hole round 1 was vital to help settle him down

Really hope Max can pull it off

You have no idea what you're talking about, good grief

Hilariously it's exactly the opposite - Amorim has previous for clashing with the club hierarchy (and was completely correct in doing so; he was pissed Sporting sold key players like Mateus Nunes at the very end of the transfer window with no...

Xavi at Barcelona probably? Tuchel going from PSG to Chelsea also might qualify?

  • He's no Biggus Dickus, that's for sure
  • Bit of an odd critique for someone with a CL-winning goal on their CV
  • I believe it is a very very old wooden ship from the civil war era
  • It's bad enough that Poch has shoehorned Gallagher in at attacking midfield all year, now he's doing so at left wing. His football is genuinely a joke at this point - in an era where every elite tactical manager is figuring out ways to get extra...
  • It's a rare win/win/win transfer. If I could defend our (generally idiotic) fanbase, by most indications this past summer he was seemingly meant to be the Xhaka replacement and in fairness that's how he was deployed initially. I've argued until...
  • Rejuvenated is strong - he just obviously needs to be used as an attacking hub with direct runners around him. He's never going to lead the league in goals but he is and always has been an elite facilitator.
  • Of course I did mate - again I don't think Kante was better than Keane but in terms of an all-action CM who could take over a match by sheer will and presence I don't think it's ridiculous comparison. Keane and Kante obviously couldn't be more...
