  1. Transfer Tweets - Manchester United - 2025/26

Yeah, and it would still be a monumentally dumb thing to do. Being deliberately vindicate in this manner is terrible way to try and rebuild a squad morale that is already badly damaged. Whatever you may think of Sancho, on a human level there will be other players in the current squad who get...
  2. Transfer Tweets - Manchester United - 2025/26

Given the Rashford and Sancho situations, it seems inevitable that we’ll be left trying to bring a much needed midfielder in on deadline day.
  3. Transfer Tweets - Manchester United - 2025/26

Someone had said something similar in the Garnacho thread a while ago but I had my doubts so I went back to the redcafe threads about Ronaldo when he was 20 (summer 2005). Sure, there were some people saying he needed to get more consistent end product and stop diving, but the sentiment was...

All that tells me is that their assessment of the situation more closely matches that of all the other posters here and not yours.
  5. Transfer Tweets - Manchester United - 2025/26

Then why aren’t we doing it?
  6. Rayan Cherki | City in pole position to sign him

This is nothing more than idle speculation. What’s reported in the press is only a tiny fraction on what goes on behind the scenes between clubs, players and agents. For all we know we did enquire and were told we had zero chance so moved on to other targets.
  7. Liam Delap | Ornstein: Delap is going to Chelsea

Maybe a slightly bigger risk. But also potentially bigger rewards. Fecking stupid though? I just don’t see it. Seems like a perfectly reasonable decision to me.
  8. Liam Delap | Ornstein: Delap is going to Chelsea

Again, you don’t know he’s doing that. You are not privy to the discussions he’s had with Chelsea about paying time. And as they’re in Europe, they’ll have more games to go around than us anyway. Maybe they’ve told him he is going to be a starter. Or maybe he just backs himself to become a...
  9. Liam Delap | Ornstein: Delap is going to Chelsea

You originally said “insisting on CL at his age is pretty fecking stupid”. I am using this message board to express my opinion that I think that is a particularly dumb take that ignores reality. The prospect of playing CL football is rightly going to appeal to any ambitious 22 year old...
  10. Liam Delap | Ornstein: Delap is going to Chelsea

He’s more than capable of figuring out what priorities matter most to him and making his own decisions based on those.
  11. Liam Delap | Ornstein: Delap is going to Chelsea

When a player has multiple offers from different clubs, he’d be crazy not to weigh up the pros and cons of each offer. And playing champions league is obviously much more attractive for any ambitious young player than not playing champions league. I’m genuinely baffled why anyone would find that...
  12. Liam Delap | Ornstein: Delap is going to Chelsea

It’s not mind boggling to me. We’re an absolute mess and it wouldn’t surprise me if Delap backs himself to be a starter at Chelsea. Might not end up that way of course, but many young players are ambitious and back themselves.
  13. Ruben Amorim - Manchester United Head Coach

Ten Hag had two+ years, a bunch of transfer windows and £600 million investment in the squad, and we got progressively worse over that time. I’m not going to judge Amorim’s partial season straight off the back of that Ten Hag disaster class in the same manner, because the context is so...
  14. Alejandro Garnacho | 2024/25 Performances

Seems like this has gone way beyond being “temperamental”. As fans we only see a tiny fraction of what actually happens, of course, but what we do know is that he’s been dropped from the squad before for his antics and now it’s escalated to being dropped from the club. That’s really not a great sign.
  15. Alejandro Garnacho | 2024/25 Performances

We don’t score half our goals with an out ball to Rashford or Garnacho. But even if we did, we shouldn’t look to improve our attack just so we can keep scoring the same type of limited goals that haven’t got us to where we need to be? Surely the whole point is investing in better, more...
