If we get rid who exactly will we replace him with? No top level manager will want that squad. It's not good enough to compete.

I want Solskjaer to show a bit more bravery and bottle in situations where we are behind. Mata should have been on for at least half an hour.

However the depth in the squad is worrying. Can't see palace being worried seeing a 17 year old coming on as our only attacking threat. Now that martial looks crocked we really have nothing going forward off the bench. Imagine if Lukaku was coming on with half an hour to go....

Martial & Rashford - 10-12 PL goals per season player
Pogba - penalty aside, 5-8 PL goals per season player
Lingard/James - 5 PL goals per season player
McTominay - 2-3 PL goals per season player

this hardly get us to anywhere

sorry snow flakes , i dont want to upset you but Ole is not the man for us. After todays joke of a game he cant talk himself out of that. Cant even beat a palace team that didnt invest in the summer and have a crap team says it all
He will win one game and everyone will be happy (and blinded) again....

If they decide that Ole needs to go then Woodward should go with him. There's no way that they have backed Ole nearly as much as they should have and Woodward has proven time and again that he knows absolutely feck all about running a football club.

The bigger picture is that we’ve been the exact same under four managers now yet it’s always the manager’s fault and never the players.
Countless players have been scapegoated along with the managers.

Sacking the manager won't acheive anything. Woodward and the owners need to go. Sick of the same thing season after season.

He will be gone by December, but unfortunately nothing will change till the boardroom is changed and we get a proper manager with good players as well.

Woodward is going nowhere. He brings in the revenue and that's all that matters.

He isn’t good enough but in truth the team isn’t good enough. He hasn’t been backed, there is no way he would have been happy with that front 4 going into the new season.

Fans need to wake up to the absolute mess Woodward has created. He has done nothing to benefit this club from a football aspect. Wrong decision after wrong decision. I for one am fed up with it, I barely look forward to games anymore. I genuinely expect us to finish 10th this season. We can’t break down teams. Relying on counter attacking football.

The only thing I can blame Solskjaer for is his persistence with Pogba in the midfield two. It has never worked and it’s 3 seasons later and we are still trying it. He loses the ball too often which costs us goals. He should play as a number 10 and feck off Lingard out of the team at the same time.

There is absolutely zero chance United go anywhere under Solskjaer and Woodward. No point sacking him now though, another season of 'rebuild' with no actual rebuild

Not blaming the manager here, the owners always get a free ride.

Are people seriously calling for Ole’s head already?
Look at that team on paper, Pogba aside they would struggle to finish top 10.
I'm not having that. That's just ridiculous. The team could be a lot better but a competent manager will easily finish top 6 with this lot. Top 4 takes a rather good manager though.

His in game management is trash so far. How ironic the ultimate super sub can’t make a decent sub. Mata and Young? Seriously?

I wouldn't have done if he'd been backed properly, but I'll follow him over a cliff now, he has a squad that is impossible to succeed with, and as soon as injuries kick in I fear for us, it is just obvious he has been short changed, and set up to fail.

Whatever happens now it is all on the owners of the club.

I think he's out of his depth, but I'm not blaming him for the loss here. This is a game where, any decent referee in it, United win that game. There should have been a red card, there should have been a penalty, there should have been a few free kicks in dangerous areas (not that the team does much with those).

This was just a horror show on all levels, compounded even more with Shaw and Martial now injured.

No but come on we losing to sides like Palace and last season Cardiff at home. Couldn’t beat Wolves in like three games.
And why did we lose today? Because Solskjaer was on the bench? Or was it because we missed a pen, De Gea is finished and our wingers didn't want to run at the fullbacks? We've played better so far this season than we played all last season.

Which is what? The board didn't back him in the summer? De Gea can't catch a cold or we can't score penalties anymore?
The board gave him option of Eriksen and Dybala and he preferred people who wanted to be here more. This is all per briefs. He has said multiple times he was happy with the squad. This is all on him.

I'm sure there is value in his positivity and insistence that he's happy with the squad, protecting players and not openly challenging the board, but if this continues he will fall on his sword because he's given himself no excuses.

For all the shit Jose said, there's been no tangible difference in results between the two approaches, and we've had a long time to sample Ole.

I backed Jose till virtually the end and il do the same with Ole. I just hope he gets the team playing with a better cutting edge than they have. Otherwise what's the point?

I would've sacked him for the signings in the summer. Now, there's nothing else to be done even with a new manager so have to ride it out till next summer. Yay.

The amount of people who actually thought Ole is the right man for the job and called us, the ones who saw it coming a mile off as spoilt, entitled fans  We went full circle, from out of his depth Moyes, to past it LVG, to past it Jose and to out of his depth Ole. I am starting to think we even managed to find someone worse than Moyes.
This is key. Many say you can't just blame the manager, which is true to an extent (McTominay, Lingard and James start for us) but there have been big question marks over every one of our managerial appointments before they got the job.

He chose to spend that money on a CB instead.
We needed a CB and RW. Plus at least one CM, more like two. That’s down to the man above Solskjaer who constantly does the wrong thing. Net spend was £70m, last season was even less. Simply isn’t enough to take us forward.

The board never backed him. It was clear this season we was a few players short in midfield. We all knew that, so why the surprise?
