I feel for the fans buying tickets for 3rd, 4th and 5th day. Hopefully they are refunded.
If they were smart, they'd start the final test as soon India finish their last innings.

You could probably squeeze 2 tests into 1 at this rate

Yep terrible call that has ended up being semi irrelevant
Hardly irrelevant considering Root took 5/8 and we lost 20 wickets for 193 runs.

Put a longer tail in there and a full-time spinner in place of Root and who knows? I'm not saying it would have gone the other way - we've still messed things up especially having won the toss - but the proof is in the scorecard.

I can only find one previous pink ball test on the subcontinent and it was Ishant and Yadav who bowled out Bangladesh. India declared on 347/9.
That. Australia test where we were bowled out for 36 and this.

Total seven days.

Nah most of the people here are fine. Just four or five clowns like you have gone deep into conspiracy zone. It's like talking to Alex Jones.
What's the conspiracy here really .I will say it to in straight terms because you are clearly not very sharp

India are the better team in these conditions and that is absolutely clear . They have prepared pitches which suit them and they have pushed home advantage to the extreme which again is not great for a viewer like me but it's fine . Criticism of the pitch is nothing to do with Indian team so no idea why people take it so personally

The umpiring in this series has been poor and with home umpires the question of bias will always come up . There is a reason that ICC went to neutral umpires and that is because home umpires under high pressure situations can make biased calls. This was true for all countries and not just India . What we have seen here is the 3rd umpire with all the technology in the world have made ridiculous decisions defying logic so I don't see the conspiracy in saying that a home umpire with 50k people shouting can make biased decisions feeling the pressure a bit . It has always happened in cricket in every country. Again criticising the umpire has nothing to do with India so no idea why it triggers Indians so much

Anything else I said about misusing the DRS technology and stuff is obviously tongue in cheek but again sarcasm is hard to get when your IQ is about 10

Hope that helps

I would love to have a bowl on this wicket, I think I would have a chance to get a top level pro out.

This is different class batting from Rohit and Gill. It does show you that, even though the pitch is tough, that doing the fundamentals right makes things a great deal easier.

Last pitch I didn't really see much of a problem with and I thought the issue was England not really being able to play on pitches that are conducive to spin.

But to have a Test Match not last 2 whole days is a major issue.

Also here's a target for India

I think it's fair to say we're on.

Pressures off now. Different ball game.

England are cooked mentally

It also helps there's feck all pressure.

Thing is cricket is full of matches where teams get out cheaply in the third innings and the target gets chased down easily because there is no pressure. Australia chased 90 easily after India made 36

Jofra Archer looks a happier man when playing for Rajasthan royals than the English test team.

Bess? He just can't pitch it in same place 3-4 times in an over. Why do you want to see a lack of control bowler?

Use your feet, watch the ball, play intelligently and there are runs to be had. I've seen worse pitches than this. This was hardly demonic. What we witnessed was some shambolic batting by both sides.

200 wasn't impossible for England in that first innings. Neither was it for us. Both teams had respectable totals at 72-2 and 98-2 at certain points. Not an easy pitch, not impossible either.

Bad pitch but not a two day pitch. Both teams batted poorly and the bowlers bowled really well. Not very good for cricket this, maybe ICC should regulate the pitches at least for the test world cup matches.

Interesting how runs seemed to be easier to come by once the lights turned on.

Although that's probably got more to do with India's top order batting at those moments than anything else.

Another very poor show from England.

Just to get another spinner it to the comical line up, also I don't support or follow England in cricket. Not that it matters.

Remove Bairstow with Jofra, Got to have at least one recognised seamer in the team.
