This is not quite the level of their 2013 Semi @ RG(that's age for ya) - but the ramifications, as they were then, are historic and looking far more likely right now.

Novak's on the verge to - blind affection aside - being the unanimous GOAT.

They may look back at tonight years from now as the moment that propelled Novak to become the GOAT.

To be fair, I watched Rafa vs Rublev last month, man he's declining. Nole is too good for him at Rafa's age. Nole can win 4 Grand Slams in a year here if he wins Roland Garros.

Oh my God what a match. One of the greatest semi finals I've ever seen.

Did not think Nadal would lose... amazing match.

Djokovic's conditioning is just another level. Looks like he could play a few more sets. As other's have stated, tonight could have huge ramifications on the GOAT race.

King of Clay Rafa. See you next year. I can't get over how amazing this match was. Great stuff.

So if Novak wins on Sunday, he should be favorite at Wimbledon as well, at which point each of the big three would be on 20 slams going into the US Open.

He's..... 10 months younger. This isn't a get out at all, both aren't at their peak and I wouldn't be surprised to see Djokovic feck this up in the final, as he did went he smashed him in straight sets(albeit an injured Nadal) to Wawrinka.

Very good match - but madness that's not even in their top 3 GS matches. Isn't that just crazy.... RG13 is the peak for me, followed by AO12 then Wimby 18.

Didn't watch it but well played Novak, sounded like a cracker. Assuming he wins the final, I'd be surprised if he doesn't end up with the most majors and goes down as the GOAT.

When it's about Grand Slam, I don't think anyone can beat Novak now. He's on fire now, I think he will beat Tsitsipas in 4 sets or less.

There would be something poetic about Fed, Nadal and Djokovic all ending on 20 slams. I expect Djokovic will end up with the most eventually. Insane first 3 sets today though. Nadal looked a bit stiff at the end with his movement I thought?

What a game. Best I have seen. Both players were phenomenal.
And I like it on clay we’re there is a contest, the points can be absolutely fantastic. It was this game ! I am glad I watched it instead of football tonight.

He can do the Grand Slam this year. But there is a long way to it. Beating Nadal on his court is a big step !

Thinking of getting into the shit predictions game. Nadal never to win another RG? Djokovic to get stuck on 18 Slams, despite the momentum. Murray to retire on court at Wimbeldon this year. So much to play for.

It would be incredible (and fitting) for them all to tie up on 20, but I think Novak will finish a few ahead, unless he picks up an injury somewhere.

I’m not really sure I can see Nadal or Novak playing on into their late 30s. But then again, I thought Nadal would be done by now given his playing style.

And the youngsters probably have their best shot at the US Open.

Phenomenal game but Nadal looked shot at the end and Federer is on his last leg. So there is a chance for Djoko to beat them at the end as he looks in good form physically and nobody is at his level apart from the older two yet.

The impossible has happened

Don't think anyone in the world thought this could have ended this way at 5-0 in the first set. That third set is one of the best sets of tennis ever played, just a shame Rafa didn't have it in him to take it to 5 sets and made this even more epic.

The final should be great too, I can see Tsitsipas doing a Wawrinka 2015 imitation.

We will see. Nadal looked shot tonight at the end, it was too much. But Djoko looks in incredible physical form to be honest, so we will see how many time it will last.

That was incredible tennis. The twists and turns every game were insane.

Dont think I'll see another epic battle like that. This really was out of this world tennis.

Novak is making himself even stronger mentally. Didn't think this was possible!

The first two games were very close and it could have gone either way. But no way a lesser player came back from the double break in the first set against Nadal at RG. Everyone but Djoko would have been shot mentally. Just show how strong Djoko is to come back from that. You don’t win 18 titles at Grand Slam with luck. It’s a mental game, and Djoko is ace.
