As great as that final-day comeback was, I suspect City as a club and fanbase will be bitterly disappointed not to have done more this season. Pains me to say it but they are a cracking side, and should have made the Champions League final. Should probably have won it and finally broken that malaise.
How much has not signing a proper striker cost them in the end? Looking at all the chances they had to finish Madrid off, losing Aguero and not getting Kane surely had a big impact.
Champions again, but bittersweet in some ways. They'll be expecting more next season with Haaland in the ranks.
