Expecting us to win two in a row is the typical mentality of your modern fan
I pretty much look at our games as an evaluation of who we have that's worth keeping around and who we can have hope for going forward for when we eventually sack Ten Hag, because there's no use in looking at any team/system dynamics with him in charge.
From that perspective, Garnacho even when he has an off day, still keeps going and can come up with a very good assist. Nice to see. Amad looked very good as well, and made some very good decisions to go with his obvious technique. And beat his man to take a shot quickly like a normal winger should do. So positive points there!

Zero desire or urgency until we finally go a goal down. Taking Mainoo of is a head scratcher, the gaps suddenly opened up with McT inability to play at 6, he cant track runners, doesnt make the correct decisions in closing down.
ETH has to give up on Anthony, he offers zero threat on the right. The only positive is Amad looked tidy.

The excuse that 'there is no one else to replace him' is probably the worse reason I've heard to justify not sacking him. It's like saying the ship is sinking but there's no point jumping into the sea as you can't see any land!

If Mainoo is not injuried, ETH should go on that sub alone. Not blaming McT for the second goal as he does what he should there, but he is so useless as a DM i dont even know what to say.
We're up to 9 now. It would require us to go on a league-winning run to not lose 15 now I would say.

Not having any options at centre forward going into this half of the season was unreal naive.

I swear the comments after the Villa game were "with Eriksen we finally play good football" or "he's the link between midfield and attack" and now suddenly we have "a gigantic hole when Eriksen is playing" 
Also, this is on Ten hag who replaced Mainoo with McT at half time. Like wtf? I could understand if he brings him around the 80th minute and we need to score one (even though he wouldn't do shite), but replacing our only DM with him was the game changer. Anyway this was a poor performance.
