Simons is a top player for Leipzig. English clubs should be all over him in the summer.
He is only on loan from PSG and they already said they want him back.
They would be stupid if they didnt.

Surprised a player like him as been loaned out to be fair. You’d think he’d get into PSG team.

Both these teams are good on the ball. But the way Leverkusen play is so good. Been the better team overall I’d say

"Neverkusen" seemingly becoming the German Liverpool the season Kane moved to Bayern. Can't make it up.

It would be a fecking travesty, if they don´t win the title. They are so much better than the recent Dortmund sides that had such an easy Bayern team to aim at. At worst they are the 2nd best team in the world at the moment.

Great match, think a draw would've been a fair result but certainly celebrating Leverkusen grabbing the late win (again!) :D

Some things to worry about for Leverkusen, Frimpong's injury, Schick was horrible again following a poor match last week as well and the defense looking shaky without Tapsoba and Kossonou.

Surprised a player like him as been loaned out to be fair. You’d think he’d get into PSG team.
I think it's the perfect decision. He had a great season last year at PSV, takes one jump up to RB and does equally well, now he'll be ready to move to one of the biggest teams in Europe. Perfect development for him.

Schalke's defense is such a mess. The rest of the team isn't anything to write home about either, but at least they can brute force a bit of pressure at home and get goals here and there that way. But that's not nearly enough to compensate for a defense that manages to leave an attacker with a 5m radius around him at the penalty spot, when they are defending a cross 6v3. I don't think it's super likely, but with Braunschweig having that impressive run at the moment, they may even get into a bit of relegation worries, if they have a bad streak.

I agree. It will be rough when they lose 0-3 to Bayern at home.
Could be the year 2000 all over again. Back then it was Unterhaching, Note their last match is against Augsburg....

Nevertheless, Leverkusen are playing great football and the their 2nd half was impressive. I always had the feeling they will score the winner safety they equalized.

Bayern needs to win the next 2 matches then it's only 1 point when they meet in Leverkusen. Normally, Bayern loves these games but their opponent shits his pants. Although I'm not as sure if Bayer will make Dortmund this time. The Bundesliga isn't boring after all.

If Leverkusen really pulls this off, I can live with it. They deserve the title 100x more than the Dortmund last year. Especially because they play attractive football and face a strong Bayern team on top.

Werder score, but VAR takes it back for a foul prior to the counter. I was waiting for that, would have been a shocking decision otherwise.

Jesus this match is boring. Bayern would be better actually trying to cross the ball once instead of just passing sideways

Yeah we've been shit so far. The lead for Bremen wouldn't have been undeserved.

Even though it was bad against the better teams and unpredictable at least Nagelsmann's Bayern was entertaining and was putting most teams to the sword, Tuchel has taken Bayern backward by years. I also don't have any trust or hope that he can win the Bundesliga or make it far in UCL.
Bad appointment.

But at least if Neverkusen doesn't implode it will be good for the Bundesliga to finally have a different winner.

Before this match, Tuchel was on course to a 87 points season which would be I believe the third or fourth highest total in Bundesliga history. That's a pretty impressive season considering the obvious weaknesses of Bayern's squad, IMO. I think under Nagelsmann, you'd be trailing behind already. He's a good coach but I think he wasn't ready yet for such a big club. Still has a few things to learn.

Too many games where we play like this and individual play bail out Tuchel. Just isn't working out.
I'm not a fan of Nagelsmann either and I agree with you.

I know what you mean, you seem a bit toothless to me as well at times but I think resultwise, this season has been more than decent for him.

Do you think you'll sack him when he fails to win the league, even if he gets 80+ points?

Without inverted wingers all they need to do is mark Kane with two players and we're done.

If nothing changes until the end of season, maybe Bayern's board will sack him, especially if the results will come down to our level of play.

Yep, I think this would be the best ever season for an unbalanced squad ever in the BL. Only Bayern's strongest teams under Heynckes and Guardiola got more points per match than Tuchel's Bayern this season. Yes it does not look that good very often, but still they would win against any other team in the history of the league.

The problem is that Leverkusen is on track to break the point record.

First away win of the season against Bayern, cant believe it. Bremen played suprisingly well today especially after last weeks performance.

Bayern missed urgency. I have the feeling that the training camp in Portugal wasn't the best idea

I have a good friend who’s a very obnoxious spurs and Kane fan who regularly calls every non English league a “farmers league”. I’ve a WhatsApp message from the opening day of the season that I’m dying to reply to

Florian Wirtz looks world class.
I don't know if it's the Bundesliga making him look so good, or if he's for real, but I really believe we should try to sign him.
Sell Bruno who's regressed so much and get Wirtz (our better version of Jota/ Bernardo).

Compared to ~10 years ago, the lack of technical ability in this Bayern side is so obvious.

I’m only a casual viewer, admittedly, but I am convinced Muller is twice the player Coman is, so why isn’t he ever starting anymore? I haven’t seen anything to suggest he can’t play together with Musiala. In fact, I think the latter is more useful in an inside wing role at this point, where he has more space to use his dribbling.

Compared to ~10 years ago, the lack of technical ability in this Bayern side is so obvious.
No player in the 2014 team was technically as good as Jamal with the exception of Thiago, who lacks speed in comparison and is a different type of player of course.
Sane Coman Davies Guerrero are technically as sound as Robben or Ribery were, but Ribery was a much more clever type of player and Robben had his absolute winner mentality.
what set the 2014 team also apart were Kroos, Lahm, Alaba and Martinez who had skillsets lacking in the current squad, but not primarily on the technical level. We call it Spielintelligenz.
