Swedish posters, does the Swedish for "genocide" and "self defence" sound similar?
Genocide would be "folkmord" and defend would be "forsvar", so they open with the same sound. However, in this clip it is pretty clear, that he continues with the 'lk' sound without finishing the word, hence the reaction.

The propagandists say he wanted to say "folkrätten" (Which means "Internatinal law") but that doesn't make much sense grammatically after saying "Israel har rätt till..." (Israel has the right to..."). Normally he'd want to say "rätt till självförsvar enligt folkrätten".

To understand his thinking, he actually doesn't care much about Israel/Palestine. I pretty much doubt he can put them on a map. And his party Moderaterna doesn't have a particular history of being biased in this issue (No more than the average white Swede anyway). But his government is full of freakishly -pro-Apartheid ministers. The woman seen in this clip with him is Elisabeth Svantesson, she is our Finance minister currently. And she is an odd case in this supposedly very secular party. She is originally from a Church called "Livets Ord". We have a few extremist congregations all around Sweden (I should know, my parents baptized me in one), and Livets Ord is among the worst. Their theology is pretty much centered around supporting the fascist regime in Israel no matter what.

In the government we have beside Moderaterna, 2 small parties who both are extremely pro-Israel. The KD (Christians democrats), currently led by Ebba Busch, she also comes from this same extremist Church (Livets Ord). She was exposed a few years back for having pictures with the IDF playing around, posing in tanks. And the Liberalerna (Supposedly centrist liberals), that one is a normal party -nothing particularly extreme I'd say- they just happen to have a big Jewish influence. And as in most Europe, rich Zionist Jews in Europe tend to support Israel no matter what. The 4th party of the coalition is the far right SD. They are not in the government but they are the main party keeping it alive and deciding most of its politics. SD (close partnership with Likud) is extremely pro Israel, for obvious reasons.

Calling the IDF and the Israeli establishment subhuman scum would be applying a charitable description to them. Beyond reprehensible.

They are a democracy though, so they will hold those responsible accountable. That's the branch of the zionist regime in the US would lead you to believe.

I saw that...
In any case -

the fact that the word genocide is so closely related and associated with Israel's behaviour is only a good thing at this point in time. It's horrific that we're celebrating getting to that stage, but with more international pressure, and more incidents like this being called out, it can have some impact.

Today has probably seen the highest escalation between Hezbollah and the IOF since the start of the genocide.

It reall is quite simple, yet you are branded loon and conspiracy theorist when you point to the obvious. Rich and powerful zionists have infiltrated many powerful institutions all around the world and some powerful governments (or have politicans in their pockets which comes down to same thing), and they are very much in charge of policy. For all the talks of Russia for example attempting such methods of infiltrating something, we see how that would work in practice with how Israel is connected and protected while doing unimaginable evil.

Call me whatever you want, you seriously think I value your opinion? I know truth can be unpleasant to hear sometimes, especially when you are on the wrong side of the things.

Yes this is anti-semitism and it's not ok.

Just because you change the word from "Jew" to "Zionist". Doesn't make it less offensive.

You are a textbook example of an antisemite. Therefore I would be offended if you valued my opinion. I am glad you dont.

You don’t know what you’re talking about, genuinely.

Rather than accusing me of being anti-semite, you two should answer yourselves why world's most powerful country is complicit in genocide and ethnic cleansing your country is currently making, crushing everything it was perceived to be standing for, making every convention humanity has built meaningless.

Oh but yeah, there is no genocide going on, right?

I guess calling it a genocide is also anti-semitic, isn't it?

It isn't my country. Stop deflecting.

You used an offensive antisemitic trope to suggest that "Zionists" (e.g. Jews) run the world. That they control the media and politics.
This is pathetic tbh.

If someone says what the guy said it's antisemitism.

Yet in the same breath you have radio and TV interviews, with likes of Eric Pickles, who will say that David Cameron can't be antisemitic or is a friend of Israel because his wife is Jewish therefore his kids are Jewish.

They discussed the cabinet and who has Jewish links or was funded or "okayed" by the CST.

By definition they are highlighting the powerful backing or relationship with Jewish people and/or organisations. Is this anti semitism?

Yep, they are still evacuating people to Rafah where they're planning a ground invasion.

Careful, that sentiment got a Labour MP suspended. Israel and the IDF are beyond reproach after all.
As far as I remember he was repeating conspiracy theories about Oct 7 attacks which for a government official is wrong.

Screening IDF members in Israel for war crimes before they are allowed back in is surely logical.

You are not only implying that a) all Zionists are Jews, and b) all Jews are Zionists, you are also implying I said it. Which I didn't.

But to clarify things further, yes, I am anti-Zionist, and I see absolutely no issues with that. Conflating anti-zionism with anti-semitism is ridiculous and you can push that as far as you want, I don't care.

As for the other thing, I see that you are avoiding answering simple questions.

Why do you think powerful world governements are standing by Israel? Why do you think US government is allowing Israel to act the way Israel is acting? Do you think it would be equally open to Iran, Russia, China or any other country doing the same? Would it support it with weapons, intelligence, finances etc? Since we know it wouldn't, where do you think such support comes from?

And most important question of all right now.

Do you think Israel is commiting genocide?

Feel free to avoid answering these questions, but you will say more about yourself than you said about me by accusing me of anti-semitism.

I think that's a different one.

There have been a few, another got suspended for advocating peace between Israelis and Palestinians.
