Not sure if even FH 29 is worth it when everyone will have exactly the same team and probably the average score that week will be like 35/40 points. Might just ride the GW out with 4/5 players
Also tempted to just go with 7-8 players as there's not much power in the likes of a Luton defender, Reguilon even Bowen if West Ham's slump continues. The most important ones to get you covered is probably just Toney, Watkins, Son, Richarlison.

The good thing is that we'll know the fixtures between this GW and the next so it's easier to plan for.

Tiny green with Solanke stuck on the bench this GW. Plan to get through 29 without using any chips still stands.

Team right now:

Pickford (Kaminski)
Burn, Reguilon, Estu (Doughty, Porro)
Saka, KDB, Foden, Garnacho (Rich)
Haaland (C), Solanke, Watkins

2,3M ITB, 1 FT

Only decision this week:

- Roll and assess best replacement for Estupinan
- Moreno in for Estu

Leaning on gambling on a Estu start and roll. Will give me more information on Moreno vs. Digne and blanks in 29.

Thoughts?

Darwin back to Watkins then...ho hum. Hindsight is a wonderful thing!

Will decide whether to do a -4 to ship Jota off.
Possibly.

Sort of regretting getting on Neto train that nobody else boarded while the Hwang train has departed.

Nah there's not much in it, Hwang just seems to be more of a goalscorer in the team and that's the only thing splitting them. Neto has form on his side, has been returning for a few games now and obviously is their best player in terms of ability. So could easily swing either way.

Knowing FPL both will blank and Sarabia will get a 15 pointer.

What's your full team? Depends completely on that I'd say.
Just not sure when otherwise to use chips, haven't used any and I have a wildcard left

Trailing leader in my league by 150 (he's first I'm second), everything is going for him while I keep picking wrong captains or buy players who get injured immediately

Team for this round that is eligible:
Leno - Aerola
Botman - Andersen - Myko (doubtful)
KDB - Gordon
Solanke - Watkins - Haaland

Did anyone Free Hit in that DGW btw? I know a few twitter muppets were. Tumbleweeds since funnily enough.
My mate did and he finished on 68 points - the lowest out of our 6 team league. He thought he was being smart bringing in the likes of Regulion and De Bruyne only to have it backfire spectacularly. He must be livid about all the Saka and Watkins points he missed out on

none or very few of those will play in gw29, so you’ll be better off waiting till gw29 with free hitting imo.

Maybe go for Hwang as a differential

Ouch. Devastating. Never in a million years would I have taken out any Arsenal players against Burnley even in a dgw.

Yeah this is the problem with the GW34 FH, and it will be worse. In GW25 the teams doubling with Liverpool and City who you can rely on, with people getting really unlucky with injuries to the two most owned Liverpool attackers, if not for that they could have at least matched the SGW players. In 34 the DGW teams are gonna be all bottom half of the table except maybe Chelsea who aren't that better, and we'd be taking out players from top teams for them.

No offense but unless they stop playing or get hacked or something, you can pack it up at this stage.
Not entirely true. I once turned a 70 point deficit and won by a further 20 points in the final 5 or so weeks. But it needs a HUGE amount of luck. He would need to get rid of templaters like Twatkins, Solanke and Haaland and get in differentials who have high upside and are captain material. Getting the rub of the green on the captains can swing things. I would, for example, bring in Hoijlund/Son/Odegaard/Martinelli and constantly captain from that pool.

But yes, will be difficult and can leave him plummeting further!

Yeah, it will need them to go completely rogue, if just keep picking the template and there's no huge amount of swings that happen it's pretty much impossible to close 150 points.

Just because he scored with his chest against Luton…:nono:

I'm leading my local MUFC forum group by 160 points  Maybe i'll try experiments with some weird choices, or try getting my OR rank higher.

Who’s already brought in Hojlund then?
I re-did it last week, after I had him early in the season, thinking he would do me some good in a mini-league as a differential. Once he started firing, I brought him again before everyone else started to catch up on him, and his EO went from 4% to about 11% now, maybe even more, haven't checked. But this puts me now with 10 players for this GW, and a transfer to do that I wasn't planning.

Unlucky, at least you had some good points?

I had him through his barren patch and binned him a week before his purple patch

I sat Solanke at the expense of Garnacho and Hojlund. Normally, as all FPL curses go, Solanke got 12 points v Newcastle away with a blinder from Dubravka, and Garna had 2 sitters, and a few assists messed up by Hojlund and Bruno I believe. Murphy law personified.

Who would you ship Jota off for?
Good question. Might need to get a firm starter with Lascelles a non starter and Estu seemingly a rotation merchant now.

As Jota is surely out for a while he probably needs to go away anyway

Actually, if Hojlund is injured then Rashy is probs a decent punt. Will play up front as literally who else could?
