That VAR offside call was very very dodgy. I reckon that came out level and they've decided to help Liverpool out given the recent death of their manager and them being the first team ever to get some injuries. Oh and because they had one bad call versus spurs.

Diaz is a weird player. Seems like he has loads of ability but chooses to use it sparingly

Am I the only who thinks these challenges being called reds are ridiculous? It's football, if you play the game you realise these kind of challenges can happen, if a player puts a foot in the direction your running, there's a chance you're going to stamp on them? I just don't get it, games gone too fecking soft because of all these replays making it look bad
Pretty sure you would had a different reaction if you're playing with your mates and someone tear your ankle ligaments like this.

Shock horror on a United forum. Never would there be such bias against our biggest rivals?
There’s “some bias” and there’s insisting black is actually white and being convinced you are right.

Don’t know why most of you even bother to watch a final that includes two of your biggest rivals anyway but each to their own I guess.

Sturridge must be the O'Shea of punditry. Played for half the fecking league.

That wasn't one of them but Caicedo's dodged a few red card challenges already this season.

I get wanting your rivals to lose; but some of these takes are just ridiculous  Caicedo incredibly lucky to be on the pitch.

Not a great game. Liverpool struggling creating clear cut chances, Chelsea poor but had some opportunities on the counter. A lot of poor decision making by both sides.

 the way they go on its like he has died. Wonder how many days of mourning there will be

Yeah agreed. Frustrates me at times and his dribbling is either very good or far too casual. Kinda drags the ball with him.

oh dear, yeh you're right. Maybe football should just ban all kind of tackling, turn the sport where you can't be near players so we can remove all risks.

Says the person on here whilst his team is in a final? The rival fans are a great part of this forum but find it odd posting whilst you are playing in such a big game. Also, Chelsea a big rival?

He's super one footed and has really poor decision making in and around the box.

Again, getting fecked by the ref. Player carried off after a career ending tackle and nothing called, so the ref is just another hurdle we’re going to have to overcome to stay competitive in this match. Add to this we haven’t got a striker playing that can score. This Chelsea’s to lose.

Anyone seen any lines being showed? Nor from distance of 10km?

Why can't we see those lines? Why don't Chelsea demand lines before going out for second half?

You can do tackles without being reckless. You usually try to get the ball by stretching your leg at ground level, You actually have less length of reach by doing the movement he did.

Wanted to check what some on here thought about the game, but could’ve predicted it myself as well: Caicedo not a red and one big VAR sell-out to help Liverpool in front of a couple ten millions eyes or so ;)

Great comedy.

So, What do you think about VAR? Not first time with disallowed goals or given penalties, right.

He didn’t even try to tackle him. He planted his foot in the most natural way possible and never once had his eyes on the foot he caught. Accidents happen, end of.

Diaz is one of those players that have insane talent and ability, like when he's on it he's near unstoppable. But his decision making and consistency let him down. Reminds me a bit of Nani.

nothing caceido did there was reckless, like I said people here unfortunately haven't played football. You run at full pace and think it's easy to avoid challenges like that

Career ending, what are you talking about. It’s a yellow card, nothing more.

It would be fitting for Caicedo's game to come to an end because he's injured himself, after having injured everyone around him.

If that was Fabinho on Rashford you’d call for him to be deported from the UK.
If Fabinho injured Rashford we’d be calling for him to be handed the keys to Manchester.

But in the end of the day: we are playing a multi-billion investment sport, but the refereeing is hurting the sport more than helping it. Poor offside decisions, lack of criteira (different refs will book you for different reasons). They can't even get it right by using the VAR.
