Decisions on Eth, Casemiro, Rashford and Bruno will be an early indicator of how quickly they want to change things. We'll find out in the summer.
Hopefully not. INEOS will be making decisions on the remaining members of the structure around the manager and leave them get on with the decisions about players and manager.

The absolute last thing we want is the likes of Brailsford deciding on which players we’re keeping/selling.

If they are seriously considering Potter and flavour of the months like de Zerbi then this new regime can't be serious .

Then again, it's all just rumours. No one anticipated Berrada, so I hope the next manager will not be one that the press says it will be.
Yeah hoping it will be a Berrada like appointment too

They need to get ETH out and a new manager in ASAP. We will struggle to find a manager this summer with other top teams looking for new managers.

The job gets bigger each week.
The journey to getting UCL football gets bigger, but this result has no bearing on our long term future, or future beyond this season.

Our new CEO and DoF havent even started yet. Next season wont be a smooth ride, there will be a lot of changes and that is probably going to show on the field too.

Add in the FFP issues with transfer spend in the summer and we become an even lesser of an attraction to the replacement manager.

I'm assuming... or hoping and praying at least... that conversations are already taking place with candidates behind the scenes. If they are not, or God forbid they plan on sticking with this manager, then it's just more of the same and we are really finished.

I agree, but who would that be right now? Nagelsmann?
They have already been mentioned hundreds of times already in this thread, just go up a few posts. In fact, many will be free co.e the summer.

100% If they are going to get shot in the summer then do it now and get the new guy in early so he has longer to see what he needs, we may still be able to rescue something from this season but with ETH mid table will be an accomplishment!

Changing the club to not look like relegation fodder, presumably. And right now, getting rid of frauds is the place to start.
“Relegation fodder”

feck me, the pessimism is DEEP in this forum. Exaggeration much, feck me, saying we’re playing like Notts Forrest, Everton, Luton, Burnley & Sheffield United. Whilst sitting in 6th, all of those clubs would be happy to he playing the way we’re playing and sitting in SIXTH! Bloody hell.

The phrase “plays like a league 1 or 2 player” to describe world class footballers playing in the premier league is a funny one too.

Still incredibly amazed that people want to sell Bruno too, in a way, I wish we do, so we get a careful what you wish for moment. Confortably our best player & one of the most passionate and this forum and the twitter fanbase want him gone.

All because he doesn’t play like prime KDB or Pirlo week in week out

Can someone answer this question for me? And please no stupid comments regarding Qatar being real etc, that's not what this question is about.
It was said if Qatar bought us they would be able to clear the debt and build/renovate the stadium and the surrounding areas and obviously bring in new players/staff.
So how come Jim can't just chuck a shitload of cash in and buy a new team and manager?

You can spend all you want on infrastructure and servicing debt. FFP relates entirely to rules around transfer spending - your net spend in comparison to your net income.

There is an amount that Jim can put into the club to help our FFP woes though I don’t think we will see him do that this side of the summer transfer window as it effectively reveals our hand to selling clubs. Better to do it after the window.

Sir Jim won’t clear the debt as a minority owner. The debt is for the Glazer’s to resolve, it’s their problem and Sir Jim is not going to bail them out - why would he? The so-called Qatar bid was to buy 100%, not a minority, so they could theoretically throw whatever money they wanted at it.

Anyone feel like everything has slowed down after the takeover?

What happened to the Old Trafford group that would consult on what happens next? SJR mentioned there would be one and an announcement would be made the week after.

Well try. How were they going to be allowed to do that? Does the debt not affect ffp etc?
They weren’t. Its was all a steaming pile of absolute horseshit. Loose stool water of the smelliest kind. They would be subject to the same rules as the rest of the league, unless they took a leaf out of the City playbook and invented a few sponsors.

Because the Qatari bid was for 100% of the club, getting rid of the Glazers forever, so then they would have been free to pay off the debts and invest in a stadium as they wanted.

Jim only bought 28% so he's obviously not going to pay the entire money to clear the debts nor pay for a new stadium as the Glazers are still the majority owners.

Where exactly the money for a new stadium is going to come from when we already have £1bn debt is the major unknown of the new regime.

I understand that, it was more of a can he do the same if he wanted but that's been answered now. Thanks anyway. ;)

Dear me, this new ownership, as much as I dont like us doing Chelsea and going on a spending spree, might have to buy 6-7 players this summer. We have so many players that we need to move on, replace. Dear me. I wonder how fast that structure will be in place, to start workingon these transfers. Ashforth is going quiet.

Thanks for the sanity. You clearly don’t care for popularity in here. Are you a match goer or something?
