Playing even game vs City without starting best player, first choice gk and both first choice full backs. That is some coaching.

Thing about City is that they have a number of players who excel in forward thinking, possession dominant settings, but who have no real backbone to withstand serious scrutiny, or day I say it, get stuck in. Look at their backline….Walker, Akanji, Ake….backs against the wall, you wouldn’t particularly back any of them. A day like today is when they need players like Dias and Gvardiol.

Jesus, the arselicking. "The kop resents city's possession".

Because no crowd has ever booed the opposition when they're in possession. This is groundbreaking and unique!

Shows the importance of having direction and structure around the club.

Liverpool have an injury problem right now but they can slot in players and still play to a high enough standard because those players already know how to play in the system, they're not learning on the job.
Yep, some of these Liverpool players aren't even world class but all know their job and work hard, it's like when we had Ji Sung Park, he wasn't world class but played a huge part in our team due to his work rate and having a role in the team that played to his strengths

We just look rudderless, and I'd also argue generally a team of individuals

Foden hits the crossbar. Goalkeeper hit it onto Foden, it actually hit his arms so would have been disallowed if it had gone in.

Who is the City keeper? Looks like he belong in a Agatha Christie movie.

While I love sticking the knife in City, or any rivals for that matter, this is not true. You can't win a treble and 3 leagues on the bounce if this is true.
