During the game:
Just so bad how there have been so many despicable chants while ITV spoke about the game in the build up and yet no one mentions it. Can we smash these please?
4 Garnacho crosses to the edge of the area and Rashford shoots at goal. Good solid save

Glad they’ve decided to attack. Will give us space
7 Break down our right, Szoboszlai with a low cut back which they do well to clear. First real danger there from us and we opened them up like a can of sardines
9 cross to Diaz in the area , he takes it on his chest and can’t hit it.

Then up the other end, a low shot that Kelleher saves but McTomminay times it it.

1-0. Humph.
12 their tails are up. The ball goes lose at the back post and it’s a phenomenal block by Robbo.
Corner follows
Cleared.
Keep calm, see out their energy and we’ll get back into it.
20 While we are one down, United continue to be very dangerous on the break. We haven't really tested Onana enough yet.
Their legs will have gone in five minutes. Get the ball, keep possession and build a bridgehead inthe game
27 Our back is giving me jitters, Mainoo nicks the ball but luckily this time they can't finish with it.
29 Our attacking players are not doing as good job of keeping hold of the ball, which is giving United opportunities on the break. That time Salah
35 Easy save for Kelleher as BF shoots from outside the box. We then give it back to them and this time Kelleher makes a better save from a SMT shot. He should score. Diaz then breaks and has a shot beaten away by the keeper at the near post
37 Endo scores 1-1. Mo cut it back and he’s slotted it into the corner. Flag goes up but he looks on to me. No, offside. Of course
How is that offside?

VAR check ……
Pretty clear. Called it well to be fair
43 We probe without success. They’re happy sitting deep. And we score. 1-1. Quansah drives into the box plays in Nunez, laid back to Mc, little deflection and in.
4 minutes added. 2-1 Libpool. Salah. Nunez has a shot saved and Mo smashes in the rebound. Of course VAR looking for any reason to disallow it. Firstly a foul and then an offside and then a handball. Pathetic. Goal stands
Every single toy has been thrown out of Fernandes pram
It wasn't even a foul, he just went down.
53 a stray pass lets the, gets away down the left.

Fernandez shot goes right across the face of goal. He’s furious and is betraying the ref …should be booked again.
I am already amazed that he was even booked, never mind a red card.
56 Szoboszlai hits one at goal and it’s turned behind for a comer.

United just switched off …. They’re so weird
57 Szoboszlai taken out on the edge of the area by Fernandez. Should be a second yellow. He’s in pain here. How is he still on the pitch?
59 brilliant intersection by Gomez. Who gets booked..
But Fernandez didn’t? What?
The double standard when it comes to handing LFC cards this season is beyond ridiculous
61 Fernandez is on the edge, has the ball taken off him and then pretends he's had a knock. You have a decision coming up referee.
64 United attempt to go forward, but their chins are on the floor, and it's so easy for us to win the ball back.
67 The game slowed down we are in complete control at the moment, United are not being encouraged by their captain to put us under any sort of pressure. We push the ball forward really well there, but Onana manages to push the ball out.
We must have had the ball for about the last 10 minutes now
No urgency from them at all and it all comes from Fernandez. He's a rotten captain.
Sums up Manchester when your captains are him and Kyle Walker
We need another goal - these are capable of micro spurts of good play and are always jammy.
73 Pathetic piece of play from Granoche who falls to the ground as he and Gomez grapple for a ball. Just sums United up.
Who

My typing is catching:lol:
76 Big old hoof from Onana and Garnacho wins a corner. We never properly clear it and eventually VVD gets a vital clearance in. We break 5 on 2 and completely mess it up. Had to at least get a shot off.
85 Varane off for diallo. Diaz shoots at Onana. Yernited like Bowser, the evil refusing to be defeated.
86 The most predictable goal of all time. 2-2. We haven’t killed them off and Anthony shoots into the corner after a scramble in the box
feck it.
Jammy bastards
You have to take your chances and we haven't been doing that.
So frustrating and so wasteful.
and it had to be Antony didn’t it.
94 Eriksen plays in Rashford, clean through and he puts it wide . Awful miss. FT and it’s another half hour
Well, these players are going to have find some extra energy from somewhere. We have been so casual second half, I don't buy that United played that well unlike the comms on ITV. The goal was out of nowhere but that's what happens when you don't finish your chances.
90+10 Nothing much happening, its been a poor game all in all.
90+12 A very late flag by the linesman as Rashford skins it wide.
90+14 Goooaaalll Harvey Elliots. He shows Rashford how to do it, a great shot.
A beautifully jammy goal
Var looking at a player interfering on the half way line no doubt
Nice one Darwin. Bruno’s crying
90+8 What on earth was that? Someone launches the ball in a United shirt and it's heading for the shopping centre as we speak!
90+10 Rashford falls over and gets a free kick. Comes to nothing.
112 Oh dear Darwin, just gives it away about 30 yards out and it’s tucked in by Rashford. 3-3. We just kill the game off again.
Just sums up the casualness the team have shown today. So poor.
116 So poor from Gakpo, fails to hold it up and gives it away easily. Yernited break and SMT slides it just wide after a pass from Rashford. So many of our problems stemming from our wastefulness up top
119 Great tackle from Bradley, Ten Haag moans, free kick given
120 Audacious pass from Mc, we break and it’s a corner. Tsimikas goes to take. They break and score. 4-3 Yernited
That sums it up sadly.
Absolute joke from back to front after getting that corner
Amad sent off.
Absurd rule.
But utterly stupid form him too.
FT 4-3. How we’ve lost that game I’ve no idea. Absolutely incredible
After the game coming up after a little happy dance...

Grrr- hate losing to these.
Jammy twats as always.
Ah well - concentrate on the League and Europa.
Always worried after we twat a team midweek.
We were so lethargic, so arrogant second half. Wow. Hugely unlike us.

You can always lose at OT, but losing like that is...something.

Oh well, onwards and upwards.
Well at least it's the cup and not the league, so I don't feel that bad honestly
I guess that means we've got the shitty performance out of our systems. right?
That was an absolutely disgraceful performance from the 2nd Hal onwards. Complete arrogance
Absolutely fecking brain dead stuff. Zero game management whatsoever. Fuming with that. Should have beaten them 5-2 and just fecked it up with our own sloppiness and being far too casual.
Got exactly what we fecking deserved, nothing.

Defending shit, naive tactically, I have no idea what we were doing most of the game, leaving huge yawning gaps for them to run into, 1-11 absolutely shit, subs shit, game management shit, desire shit. Every single bit of it, absolute fecking shit. Worst performance of the season by an absolute mile and a fecking disgrace.
A harsh lesson that I hope will be heeded going forward the rest of the season. You have to kill games off. Doesn't matter how fecking poor the opposition are
Yes they are jammy but we know what they are like and we were so casual so they will have to take it on the arse
Our game management was non existent.
Potentially season changing result. I don't know how you pick yourself up and dust off after a performance that abominable.
Far too complacent second half. Poor goals to give away. What really grates is when we were five on two second half and that terrible ball from Gakpo. One of many examples of poor decision making from our lads
Do disappointing and an easy trophy win for City from here.
Wouldn't cry if that was the last time we see Diaz in a Liverpool shirt.

Also don't know what the point in Gakpo is. Offers absolutely nothing.
We bottled it against an utter shite utd team.

Pride comes before a fall, so many brainless decisions all game.
Just wow.

Off-day from the entire team.

Gakpo, Nunez and Diaz were absolutely terrible.
This looked like a Klopp team from 8 years ago
All those strong teams in the Europa cup have come back to bite us, the players looked dead on their feet
Lost that in an utterly dominant second half. So wasteful and complacent. Should have been out of sight but didn't deserve it in the end.
Well - that sucked! Haven't seen us so gassed in a long long time! Hate that we lost to these fecking
Should've been over the hills and far away in the 90

United were abject then. Should've been 1-4 at least in the 90
Very poor game management! Ah well, We can’t expect the normal high standards all the time
...
I feel like I want to kill myself.
You should stop following the sport if any result makes you feel that way, and that's not something to joke about either
...
Hope Klopp gives them an absolute bollocking can't afford to play like that in the league game way too casual thinking we'd already won. Deserved result
Just the manner of the loss is hard to take

United did have plenty of openings, very open game. But we should have killed it off 2nd half and then handed them two goals in extra time.

It was the third priority for me but still so annoying
Can’t believe we’ve lost that.

Doesn’t matter now but it looked like McTominay hand balled it before setting rashford up?
feck me that’s annoying. 80s throwback that no matter how shit this lot are we can’t always put them away.

Win there in the league as said above. No Wembley farewell for Jurgen, but feck it, Dublin is the best way to bow out. Arse.
All on the players there, really lacking in composure

Only positive is that its not in the league, when we go there in a few weeks we need to put it right
What happens when you dont create enough, aren't clinical enough with what you do create and you get officials who bottle the big calls

Fernandes is in a select group in thus league who referees simply wont send off, no matter how many fouls and how much dissent

We invited them back into the game time and again. Worst side we've lost to all season
Pathetic. Playing ring a ring a rosey instead of putting them to the sword. As for that corner at the end when they broke. Pathetic.

Disgusted with the arrogant attitude shown throughout that.
Somehow, we've beaten ourselves there. Second half, we had them where we wanted them & instead of killing them off, we made bad decision after bad decision.
As if we lost to them shit c*nts

McTominay, Rashford, Amad…and Anthony. I mean fecking hell lads Our lowest priority left, no biggie. Spares us a pain in the arse game against Abu Dhabi

Losing to this United side is embarrassing, losing to them whilst conceding 4 is absolutely pathetic.
Virtually speachless at that performance. NOt sure what's worse! conceding 4 to this lot, Mainoo strolling through our midfield like a prime messi or Antony scoring against us with his weaker foot.
After all we've gone through the past few week, all the injuries, winning the league cup, please go easy on the lads. We've been brilliant. It's a shame yes, It's not the end of the world.

If we can be forgiving of any set of players, it's these lot.
Gave it away to them on plate, they are absolute bang average.

Our own fault.
Worst I've felt watching us in ages. I'm not upset about not having to play the extra matches, but holy shit what an embarrassingly half-assed performance. I really, really, really hope that was a "get it out of our system" day.
The refs a c*nt. Fernandes should have been off. BUT, only ourselves to blame, shoulda put that to bed a few times
It's incredible how we dominated Man City, but failed to meaningfully challenge a back three of Dalot, Maguire and Fernandes.
Nunez is an idiot. His lack of football iq is evident with his attempted pass. Klopp subs were rubbish as well.
Disgrace of a performance that. From 2-1 up second half we played like we were 10-0 up and Man Utd had no chance. Complete arrogance.
You'll never see a team deserve to lose more than their opposition deserves to win than that.
Shipped FOUR goals to the worst Man United side in 40 years. Shocking.
The substitutions were poor. Taking off Salah and Diaz for Gakpo and Clark was nuts in such a close game.
Klopp is the best manager in the world and will be sorely missed, but playing the 1st team in both legs against Sparta came back to haunt. Today was on everyone down from the manager to the players
They'll draw City and roll over and have their belly tickled like the always do
Shudda wudda cudda, still a treble to play for, on we go
After wining the League Cup this was by far and away the competition I cared for the least

So yeah I am legit not that arsed other than it was poor game management, hopefully we learn for the league in a few weeks where it actually matters
There is going to be a sickening overreaction to that Utd win, both in the media and social media now.
Make no mistake, our away games at United and Goodison will be tough. No guarantees.
Have ITV condemned the chanting yet? They are a disgrace if they haven't.
Worst United side in a generation and we have drawn and lost.
this was the first time we had poor game management since the 4-3 at Bournemouth.
Not too arsed other than losing to a shambolic yernited.

We move on, bigger fishies to fry, lets hope they stay laser focussed for the rest of the season.
Do them in the league and all will be forgiven.
i dont care about not winning the FA Cup. Main concern is that gives them a big lift for the league game
Gives those c*nts the impression they are as good as us. A fecking shite United team. United would never do that to City but with us they still think their the dogs bollocks. Sickened.
We’ve given Utd their DVD for the season there. They showed us how to finish a counter attack so fair play. Hopefully City smash them in the final.
wtf didn't we rest players last Thursday for this game, Salah playing a full 90 Thursday, then we are having to take him off early. thursday was already won in the first leg. most of our team looked fecked towards the end.

nunez and elliott bad mistakes, and we messed up two attacks when it was like a 4v2, didnt finish our chances.

but its the fa cup, lets get the league and shut these scum up with 20 times bullshit
fecking scum bag fans, hope they draw City in the semis and 22+ players pick up injuries.

We also missed big chances yet they think it should’ve been some landslide win for them. Silly bastards aren’t they.

Love how Rawk argues liv should have hammered 4 or 5 goals, while completely ignoring utd had the better chances and liv should have received one confirm red card….

Ha, this thread! Finally!

Seems like jammy means different things depending on whether your are posting on the CAF or Rawk. They are called jammy on here and they call us jammy over there.

I wonder who's jammier, us or them.

They scored two deflected goals.
They had two red cards not given.
Their second goal is 99/100 given as a foul in the build up before it happens.
We had more injured players.

But apart from that maybe we are jammy because errrrm Klopp storming out of an interview after the game meant he can’t mentally prepare for the match after the international?

Bigger prizes...

They ain't winning the league.

And the EL is hardly a bigger competition to win than the FA cup.

Seriously I heard a " Journalist" on radio here saying the FA Cup was the one competition they could afford to lose?
Said due to their love of Dublin the Europa final was bigger. I kid you not.

He's bloody irritating, have to say when he said united have won it I out load went woop woop.

I personally don't get watch alongs. But if I did watch them I couldn't listen to that type of drivel.
It's good to see when such a 'bell' gets his comeuppance though. I would watch him if they won, and would only ever watch the highlight reel.

We need more of the same when we play them at home to put a dent in this. I wouldn't be confident in many teams taking points off them.

Yeah, it's just a bitter coping mechanism, we didn't want to win it anyway, Utd will lose to City in the final..... blah blah blah

They're most likely going to get to at least the EL final, there's not much serious competition left and it'll probably be them and Leverkusen in the final.

Ironically we might want them to beat both Villa and Spurs if it will help Utd catch up.

While it's great to see them shaken by the loss it is disappointing if United fans were making chants about tragedies
