We can't lose to these knobheads, we're making them look good. Need to get some control in midfield in the 2nd half and maybe I'd consider subbing Antony on for Garnacho who has been very quiet. I'd also swap Wan Bissaka and Dalot over because their right winger isn't good enough to voluntarily sacrifice having any threat down the left hand side.

I really hope that we can pull our fingers out for the next half, but I’m not confident. Like, Spurs and Villa both won today. We need to be winning games.

Dismal effort. Very lucky to go in level, Brentford hit the post and bar.
Casamiro and Erikson on please. McT not in the game, mainoo is ill.

It's games like this where we really miss defenders like Shaw or Martinez who can advance the ball. Or even Maguire with his ranged passing. Nobody in that back four is capabable of putting us on the front foot as we build from the back. They're all clearly terrified of giving the ball away and will always pass the ball backwards as soon as a Brentford player so much as looks in their direction

Brentford hit the post, crossbar and Dalot made a goal-saving tackle. We have zero shots on target. You get the picture.
The average then. I’ve found a pub for the second half- let’s hope they were waiting for me to start playing!

    Rashford and Garnacho not good.

I would rather Bruno play deep and have Mct up. Midfield just so leaky.

We need subs: Casemiro for McTominay, maybe also someone for Bissaka, and we need to discontinue playing double LW and no RW schematic

Every single player getting out played by the opposition - pathetic, we just lack any sustained effort.
Our only chance is they tire in the last quarter.

We are muck. Terrible to watch. Number of times players get ball and stand still with it. Snail pace at everything.

Brentford have cut us open so much. Should be 3 nil down.

That first half was so poor. One would hope that we can only improve in the second.

Firstly, we've got to string more passes together. When we get to the edge of their box, it needs to be quick pass, quick pass, work a shot within the box. Quicker play, more fluidity.

Brentford are not having a great season. But, the longer we continue to play poorly, the greater the risk that we embolden them and they grow even further in confidence. We've got to come out early in the second and impose ourselves more.

As bad as it gets. Martinez, Mount, Eriksen on. Bruno, Mctom, Rashford off and we might look like a PL team.

It's amazing how many of these halfs we've got away with this season without getting battered score wise. Explains how somehow we find ourselves 6th despite performing no better than the likes of Brentford all season.

Our midfield with McT and Mainoo has been too weak and Brentford have no problem dominating them. Mathias Jensen is by far the best midfielder on the pitch in the first 45 minutes, and he makes McT and Mainoo look like amateurs.

Højlund looks like he lacks match practice. He misses even the easiest passes and I would replace him right now.

Garnacho is out of the game and I would put him over on the left wing to challenge Mads Roerslev. Then I would set up Rashford as a central striker, and Antony on the right wing.

Everyone watch De Zerbis Brighton side with 10 injuries tomorrow keep the ball and create chances vs Liverpool at Anfield.

Then tell me with a straight face that our current Head Coach is up to scratch.

The Toney loving from sky today is ridiculous. The camera is on him all the time... commentators foaming at the mouth too....

    FFS
And Toney is absolutely doing his best trying to score against us . Just shooting from everywhere

That was horrific, lucky to be all square. The only positive has been some good last ditch defending.

Complete re-think needed at half time, I would be making personell changes aswell, but we shall see.

Our results massively flatter the level of performance and team cohesion.

When a team has gone 29 games making the same mistakes game after game, there should be zero defence of the coaching team. But hey its Utd so manager has the full support!

Same old problems. No plan of build up, no athleticism, no quality on the ball. I spent like 25 minutes just waiting for us to concede. But we didn't, so that's the only positive I guess. Praying for a Brentford feck up that gifts us a goal at this point.

The team don't give a shit. Spurs and Vila winning today means they've basically chucked the league. Does that look like a team that wants to win a f*cking game of football?!
That's more my take on it now. Not that they don't care, they don't really have that hunger and belief. ETH needs to spark them up at HT.

Rashford 90/100 pace, 90/100 acceleration, 0.9/100 effort to run.

Most touches in the opponents box in a half since Brentford have been promoted. Truly shocking.

Terrible half tbh. Expected it though, we always look terrible after a big win.

Laughable the take on this match before the game. We've been gash all season and the fact that we managed to win a crazy FA cup game doesn't change that.

We were always going to be lost again in this game. We haven't dominated any game - we might be lucky and fluke something.

Our players can't be bothered to attack or run with the ball.
With and without the ball we are so static.

Hard to know who to blame really, on one hand I think players should take initiative and be able to spot spaces and make runs for the man on the ball, on the other hand I'm thinking maybe the tactics means we cannot do this as they'll then leave their own positions open.

Brentford have done well to nullify us. There high press is scaring our players.

I think some changes needed at half time, Mctominay off and Camemiro on, Antony on and Rashford off.

Brentford have only managed to have that many shots in the first half once. Says it all.
