Perfect storm of everything consprising this season.

The team has gone backwards, key players from last year are either injured or levels below, and he himself is not only short of confidence, but often being asked to do what isn't his strength. Get it and try and beat men off cold, rather than his actual strength of storming onto passes into space.

Roll on next season.

At one point he was passed the ball straight to him but gave up possession and jumped over the ball, as he thought he was going to get clattered by the Brentford player who never touched him. He has no fight in him and he always sherks away from a 50/50. Needs to be shown the door in the summer.

Nah, he fecks up counters as well. He's just having an absolute stinky season. He plays like Salah without the attacking output. Nearly half his goals this season are penalties and he's not even the designated penalty taker!

Wouldn't be the end of the world if he was sold this summer. I'm sure we'll keep him though. For reasons.

The Lukaku formula needs to be used on him. Get rid, take the hit, hope for better days.

The sooner we offload this lad the better. He looks depressed! Best for both if he goes & we get a good fee for him. Hopefully he goes abroad if so though. Can't have him going to Arsenal and ripping it up. That would be awful.

This circus can’t continue at the club. All this attitude off the field from this family with zero effort on the field to show for it. Get rid.

This is the first time I actually believe he might leave the club in the not too distant future. Can’t believe I’m saying that but I just have that feeling. This is beyond a slump in form,,, there’s something deep rooted.

He needs to go. One of the top earners and he just can’t be bothered. He is a horrendous example for the likes of Garnacho and Mainoo. Just such a poor mentality and workrate. He needs to finally leave with the manager and his salary given to someone who cares.

If we are sensible we could use his fee and salary to fund two or three players who may make us better overall.

Selling him and McTominey is pure profit in terms of FFP and our first team or squad wouldn’t be any worse for it. They are both definite sells.

Salary maybe but realistically who on earth would pay a fee worth of 2-3 players for this uniterested bum? Not good enough for Real. Barca don’t have the money. Not a Bayern signing. Italian clubs would want a loan where they cover 0 % of the salary.

Leaves us with PSG? Atletico? There aren’t really many options unless he’s so fed up that he entertains Saudi.

I posted a very similar video to this v Luton when he let Ross Barkley amble around him.

Ive seen other examples too, it’s an attitude. He can’t even say Kate and tired, he was a sub… his job was to score if possible yes, but AT LEAST, sprint around and help the team.

His PR crap “give everything for United” is exactly that… PR.

Has to be sold.

Glasgow resident these days.
His legacy and reputation at United has long since faded. Only kids wanting a signature are left.
Last night aims him and his attitude up perfectly. He did this with Ole too but not as bad. Sell him for whatever and let’s be rid of him. Crowd need to be on his case and he needs reminding he’s paid to play football.

Surely someone at the club should have shown him the Luton example, so to then just carry on with shit like this, embarrassing. Really hope PSG can take him off our hands, I really wouldn't be fussed at this point if he had run down his contract and was leaving on a free, at least then we would definitely be rid of him.

Has there been a player in recent memory that comes out on the defensive when criticised on a major platform as much as Rashford has?

Shearer broadcasts that he‘s not trying hard enough, let’s do a big interview!
Neville and Rio discuss concerns over his commitment, let’s do make snide digs at those two!

How have they (i.e the whole Rashford entourage including himself) made it this far in football being so thin skinned?

I can see the theory that his entourage mollycoddle him. It feels like ever since the free meals for children thing, they think he should be treated like Mother Teresa or Gandhi.

Might be worth bringing Jose back for the rest of the season just to achieve this.

This is just one of the many things I hate about Rashford these days. He's all PR. I'm not even sure we'll sell him. I think the club values his marketability. He'll get a clean slate once ETH is fired.

That's pretty much true with most superstars. You don't stay in the entourage long if you're negative or too honest. That's why it usually falls on the family to be the guiding influence as more difficult to get rid.

I have been a backer of him but last night was pathetic. He wasn't even interested in making runs as a CF to get in position. Was just ambling around. So annoying to watch, especially an academy lad who you have put so much of your faith in.

Also begs the question, why would the manager not bring in Amad, a young player who has the enthusiasm and saved his bacon a couple a game back, instead of subbing in Rashford who is going to come in and sulk.

I’ve been one of his biggest supporters/ defenders and think in a good setup with a good team he’s thrive. Last night was a hard watch when he came on though. I was happy seeing him ready to come on, thought we could hit Chelsea on the break and get a fourth, but he did nothing. Absolutely nothing

I think this is made bigger issue than it actually is United can easily make Someone else it's face without losing a beat once they do decide to move him on .

There's only one United!
Last night during the time he was on the field he was disinterested in what was going on.

Another Pogba - sell him.

He should bring his nephew/niece to more games (like Liverpool in the FA Cup). At least he will be inspired to put in the effort to stop embarrassing them.

The lack of effort he is showing is really damning. He's out on the big stage every week, getting criticized for it. Yet nothing changes.
He must be showing something else in training, or perhaps the coaches are just fond of him (or afraid of his influence on the rest of the squad).

I guess there really aren't many options in the squad at the moment, but EtH can't he happy with what he is seeing and hearing.
As for getting rid, this might not be something EtH gets to decide. Whether or not he is the manager come summer transfers.

The irony that during that same podcast they talked of how they too came under fire at times but just rolled their sleeves up, sorted the basics out and put some effort in to return to form…and not have part of an entourage reach out to ask for mercy

Nobody has the PR pull of Rashford for the club. We offered Pogba 300k a week to stay when he was finished, he is our new Pogba. The last of the commerical contracts

i dont think the club will sell him and i dont think he would leave the spotlight of Manchester United, as he clearly likes fame

Even with a new coach or manager it will be the same, he'll give it a bit of effort for a while, the PR mill will be in overdrive, he'll score a few goals point to his head and eventually return to strolling around the place.

The lack of intensity in his performances is quite clear, trotting around like a show pony and only making a token run towards a player on the ball. In between you get the occasional burst, like last night when he ran back to clear a ball up the line. But 90% of the time he just looks like he's playing half arsed and totally disinterested.

You can forgive a lack of goals if there's a clear effort being made to work for the team, but he doesn't, he's not a team player on the ball or off it. Best thing is to just show him the door, it'll show the rest and any new players that the standard expected from a Utd player is higher than what he's being showing. And if you don't live up to it, you're gone.

Why are the other players tolerating this? Keane would have torn him a new one. Rooney as well.
