Why the feck do players pick up the ball and start walking when a FK gets given against them?
Really should be punished harder. If you get a foul given against you your team should not be allowed to touch the ball until it is in play again. Systemic fouling is already bringing down the tempo in games and this is just a big of a culprit.

Honestly, I’ll be accused of being biased but that’s a stonewall penalty for me, and I’d say that if it was against my team as well.
There’s been plenty of occasions players have tackled and got slight touches on the ball but wipe a player out and a penalty is given.

You just can’t get a slight touch while wiping a player out.
Of course you're biased. We all are.

There's no meaning in saying you wouldn't be unhappy if in an imaginary world the roles were reversed. It's imaginary.

Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"

Think it’s an automatic yellow under current rules (slowing the game down at a FK)?

Refs are wimpy. Rules are grey and viewed differently by different refs.

Fouls on breakaways (or as they’re now called… “Man City fouls”), picking the ball up, kicking the ball away, abuse of refs and a few other things need to be a mandatory yellow every single time. They’d soon stop… or get sent off, I’m fine either way

Arsenal dropping the fake injury tactic! Couple Brighton players fell for it too.

The solidity that Rice gives Arsenal hurts to watch. Such an obvious signing that should have been prioritized over the years we were chasing names and fading stars. Would have sorted a key position for 6/7 years and then you just build around with more expansive players.

Got to hand it to arteta, completely transformed arsenal. We can only dream of being where they are now as a team :(

Italian Brendan Rodger’s this De Zerbi. How’s he getting links to the top jobs? Glad we’re staying clear and he’s off the list, definitely be Brendan all over again with him.

Credit to arsenal board for backing him and not listening to their fans or media who were calling for him to be sacked

I think it's pretty harsh, we're talking fractions of a second really. How much more contact would deem that an "OK" tackle? It's very subjective.

Imagine Zinckenko gives that away on Garnacho and it costs you the title. Maybe you have much better control of your emotions than me, but I'd be absolutely sickened.
Im weighing up 2 things. The amount of contact Lamptey gets on the ball, and the amount of contact Lamptey gets on the player in the same motion.
First 1 is minimal, 2nd 1 isn’t. There’s other examples of things I think we’ve benefited from, such as the Odegaard handball at Anfield, this isn’t 1 of them to me.

Such disrespect for the man who laid the foundations for Klopp's success.

London boy and family man. He would never come to Manchester and rejected Man City

I'm not sold on him either. Plus I also think he hasn't shown that he can improve players. The likes of Ferguson, encisco etc haven't really developed under him.

He's good but Saliba has transformed their backline. Bit like when Sol Campbell joined them.

Do Arsenal give Ramsdale any games at all these days? I remember the “two no.1s” talk at the start of the season. Is Raya that much better? Looks way less commanding to me.

Doubt he'd have made much difference in our dysfunctional team.

He made the right decision to go to Arsenal

Depends on who they're playing this weekend. Oh wait...
Exactly… they’ll be feeling the pressure now though. Could go in our favour. They know they have to win and if there’s any team they’d not want to stop them it’s us.

I thought he was too expensive at the time, but in terms of his impact at Arsenal I’m completely in the wrong. He’s good at his role but he also allows their other players to excel.

Yes Raya is that much better to a point where some were concerned when he couldn't play against Brentford.
The two number 1 was never genuine, it was just to keep both motivated. Arteta would rather not say that he upgraded on Ramsdale just 2-3 months after extending his contract.

Didn't even go knee-sliding in front of DeZerbi...
