Not helping. Would have preferred him to explain why are we so open. I mean, atleast he honest about it. Don't be arrogant .Tweet

No one's smart enough to understand his genius tactics. Definitely not our players. Not helping. Would have preferred him to explain why are we so open. I mean, atleast he honest about it. Don't be arrogant .
You talk like it would take so much to upgrade on Ten Hag. Half the managers in the PL right now would be upgrades. That's ten options already. So which 4th choice manager will come in and make the difference then? I'm at the stage where I don't really care if ten Hag is sacked and can understand why he would be. I'm just not sure there is anyone out there we can get this summer who is going to be a major upgrade.
They seem like the words of a man who is done with this whole arrangement, rather than someone who knows he’s staying.Tweet

I’m the same, it just sounds like he’s digging his heels in hoping people aren’t actually seeing what his team is producing on the pitch.Everything he’s saying is massively contradicted by how we play and setup. I can’t take anything he says seriously at all.
In his pregame interview he said we dominated Liverpool throughout in the last game. Stress on "dominated" and then said something something xg.I’m the same, it just sounds like he’s digging his heels in hoping people aren’t actually seeing what his team is producing on the pitch.
Yeah, he’s just pretending now, it was a 50/50 game, we were awful for large parts. I read he said he doesn’t care about conceding the most shots at goal in the league. That worries me just as much!In his pregame interview he said we dominated Liverpool throughout in the last game. Stress on "dominated" and then said something something xg.
And that nonsense permeates too. Rewarding mediocrity will have chilling impact on young players too. They'll adopt and take on what they see.Rashford over Mount, especially after the previous outing. Ten Hag Meritocracy
Better to put Garnacho against Bradley if anythingDo think there is merit in starting Rashford against Bradley . So don't blame him.
I said as much in the match day thread, even though in the bigger picture it’s not deserved.Do think there is merit in starting Rashford against Bradley . So don't blame him.
Yes, but Rashford is pretty crap on right. Guess both of our wingers now can keep their full backs on toes and Hojlund is handful for their central defenders.Better to put Garnacho against Bradley if anything
Gambling on a unknown just doesn't appeal at all to me, I don't know who we should wait for tbh, but it's fairly clear there are no standout candidates right now, maybe if we were getting linked to Amorin or Naggelsman then it might be a bit exciting, but there are no links, and even then it's only the unknown that makes it exciting more than any confidence.I don’t know what situation people on here are waiting for. There isn’t ever going to be this perfect future where suddenly it’ll start raining class managers.
Who are these managers we should wait for?
So we waste a season and chunk of money to try to implement his system which we already know is crap and naive, because the ideal candidate hasn’t emerged yet?
I’d rather we hire an interim manager
I see no point in sticking with something that we already know doesn’t work, I would prefer to gamble on an unknown where there is at least some chance of success than a known flop.
That's OK, we have zero.Liverpool have 9 shots on goal in 24 minutes.
We don’t even have anything to show for it on the attacking end, we somehow manage to be wide open whilst we have parked the bus. It’s a whole different level of incompetence.9 shots in 25 minutes.
We CoNTroL ThE gAmES
But what about the chances created? Can we get rid of him at half time together with Bruno?
A lot of fans blame the players for poor performances and lack of motivation as if that's a phenomenon that occurs in isolation.Well, if it's the players or ETH doesn't matter. But ETH never value performances, and it's the reason I want him out.
I thought he had the grit to select squad based on performance, and he is the definition of insanity. Do the same shit and fail over and over. It's infuriating!
The fact that the manager doesn't have the processing power to differentiate between a good and a bad performance is missed. But then again, that's the majority of our fanbase as well.A lot of fans blame the players for poor performances and lack of motivation as if that's a phenomenon that occurs in isolation.
Yes, the players deserve a share of the blame, but ultimately there is no incentive to perform well. Favorites don't get dropped and good performances don't get rewarded with more playing time.
The consistent stick from all angles isn’t an incentive? What about having their salaries reduced by 25% for not qualifying for the CL? Let’s not make some shit up about people not caring when there’s absolutely more than enough incentive to go around.A lot of fans blame the players for poor performances and lack of motivation as if that's a phenomenon that occurs in isolation.
Yes, the players deserve a share of the blame, but ultimately there is no incentive to perform well. Favorites don't get dropped and good performances don't get rewarded with more playing time.
It's a vicious cycle too. If you're the United manager, you're better off just playing the same poor performers over and over, because the fans will just blame them for everything and absolve your shortcomings. The fact that the manager doesn't have the processing power to differentiate between a good and a bad performance is missed. But then again, that's the majority of our fanbase as well.
Both are a match made in heaven.
Are people wrong to be exasperated and want to have somewhere to vent? We are heading for the 18th loss of the season and nothing changes, so why should the opinions? So you basically wait for a goal and then go in this thread to shit and repeat the same shit you said an hour ago
We're not parking the bus. We're parking the shuttle. We don’t even have anything to show for it on the attacking end, we somehow manage to be wide open whilst we have parked the bus. It’s a whole different level of incompetence.
That's the character flaw I have been referring. Misplaced pride, I suspect that it the reason why many managers double down on their mistakes or on decisions that aren't working, they refuse to admit to themselves and others that they were wrong at some point. I would have a lot more time for a manager that recognizes mistakes or shortcomings and actively tries to fix them. And that's generally what top managers do, there isn't a single top manager that has flawless seasons or every ideas working for him. There is only thing worse than someone doing terribly performance and result wise and with so many traits of poor coaching throughout the team.
And that is someone doing the above while remaining “defiant”. You are doing shite mate, cut the big man bullshit and have a bit of humility.
Yes, it is so strange mentality. Not giving up and having belief.. why is that the case looking at our history? Munich, Busby, Fergie.. Why are we the only fanbase who doesn't boo and shit on the manager hoping it will turn things around. The fact that the manager doesn't have the processing power to differentiate between a good and a bad performance is missed. But then again, that's the majority of our fanbase as well.
Both are a match made in heaven.
