If Arsenal can beat Spurs then they’ve got a really great chance of winning the league as we will surely stick Mr Blobby upfront against them in a desperate attempt to stop City winning another treble. Ten Hag will be all but toast by the time that game comes around too.

Having said that Arse will probably drop points to Villa tonight…

I wish they'd stop saying Liverpool are out of it, Not yet they're not! I can see both Arsenal and City dropping points before the season is done.
Exactly they're far too close still for my liking, it's only 2 points and Arsenal have awful fixtures still, even if they win today

Redknapp says it was “cruel”! Like some outside force has robbed Klopp.

If it were Arteta doing that today, the bottling and criticizing would never end.

Need to get the likes of Redknapp and Carragher off Liverpool games.
at halftime Redknapp said he was “still calm about the game”, guys a clown and the botox has left him looking like he never sleeps

I think Arsenal will win fairly easily today. Get that early goal and then see it out. If they drop at all it'll be to Spurs or United.

The only 3 games City have lost this season were without Rodri playing. They haven’t lost since February 2023 with Rodri on the pitch. It’s 100% over for them.
Was that meant to disprove my point any result can happen in the Premier League?

There's only one United!
We’re not winning it. We keep going behind in games, have kept one clean sheet in fifteen, and now can’t even score goals.

We’ve got away games coming up and I fully expect us to drop points in at least one.
Great

I think it's Arsenal's to lose... been saying this for a while now. that said, City have the easiest run in. Arsenal meanwhile have three automatic points... they are yet o visit OT!!
If Arsenal perform like they have in the past few weeks then run-ins don't matter.

One thing is certain, if Liverpool or Arsenal finish above City then they win the league.

You've been getting away with it for a while. That Forest 99th min winner and not looking that great. Meanwhile Arsenal have been playing champagne stuff.

Still not over, but Arsenal's goal difference is huge. They don't have an easy run in though, us and Tottenham away and Villa today. Chelsea in there too.

City have come back into play though disturbingly for all.

You’ve been shit all season. The only difference now is your luck has run out and the results reflect the performances

Statistically yes, it’s very unlikely that City drop more points than Liverpool over the rest of the season, so yes is my answer.

Liverpool have looked a clear step below City and Arsenal for months.

It's only the last week where results have started to match their general performances.

It’s not Arsenal I’m worried about. Once City edge ahead like this, they don’t let you back in.

Every United fan should be cheering on Arsenal now. If they beat Villa and Spurs then I low-key want us to roll over for them, I don't even care. The alternatives are a second City treble or a 20th Liverpool league title for feck's sake.

We’ve been the third best side in the league, fair?
I think so but the last few months I think you've been well below City and Arsenals level of performances.

You did well to grind wins out and stay in touch but these dropped points recently have been a long time coming.

I’d say that’s probably fair but the current points are incredibly flattering to you. I’d have you behind Arsenal and City by at least 10 points and that’s being generous.

They have to go to Spurs and United. They’ll drop in at least one. City will win every game. This is what they do.
Pep has never won away to Spurs in the league, if I'm not wrong and I don't think it changes this time either.

I can’t be bothered to go looking at stats but I’m sure we’ve not been that far behind. City have also failed to beat their title rivals and Arsenal lost back to back vs Fulham and West Ham.

They’ve both been better than us but not if it’s 10 points then we’re level with Villa and Spurs. We’ve been comfortably better than both of them.

Arsenal are taking us to the cleaners, don't be banking on us taking points, our season is over.
We usually do turn up vs the bigger teams at OT so it won't surprise me if we get a draw vs them and lose the next weekend to Sheffield or someone.

Arsenal fans booing Martinez for not wanting to be second fiddle to Leno when he was 27 years old.
More like booing him for talking shit about the club at every opportunity he had, how "Villa was an upgrade" after having had 4 good games in 5 years. He is a very good keeper but an absolute d*ckhead of a man as we all saw with Villa and Argentina.

2nd to last game of the season with nothing to play for, be a nothing burger for the players, they played with no intent whatsoever even when we did have something to play for.

The PL really needs Arsenal to win it this year to prevent it becoming incredibly stale.

To the ones saying "yeah but even if City won it they've still got the 115 charges": I don't believe anything major will come of it. Maybe a hefty fine and that's it. So we need Arsenal to win.

It gives me a disproportionate amount of joy to see Liverpool stumble. Childish I know. Don't give a monkeys though.

I think it's only their fans being the way they are that stops people cheering them on.

Disagree.

Villa have been fantastic for long periods this season. Spurs were fantastic for the start of the season. You’ve had similar highs to them for similar periods but you’ve been shit on a stick for the same periods they have too - the difference is you’ve been unbelievably lucky and that’s easily been 10 points difference.
