Football is hobbled by toxic masculinity in serious and not serious ways and Keys’ existence is a symptom.
I'm not sure there's anything particularly masculine about Keys. He's just not very bright.
Have read a lot of horrible takes about him staying at Leverkusen when he's still a rookie manager that will benefit with continue to develop his project at Bayer Leverkusen while also gaining experience in the UCL. Him staying also makes it less likely for players to leave the team. It looks likely everything is aligning for him to take on Real Madrid in a few years but he also has a good thing going on with his current team so it seems like a very sensible choice.

Crazy stat: Schick's goal against Hoffenheim was the sixth time this season that we decided a match in extra time. Alonso rightfully gets lots of praise about his playstyle and how we dominate teams but considering that we were known serial bottlers with a notoriously weak mindset, this is seriously impressive as well. There are lots of coaches who are excellent tacticians and lots of coaches who are excellent man managers but not that many who combine both to a very high level. Alonso seems to be one of them.
