Was this for many years. My mates and me sang along that song so many times, mostly when very drunk.

I've met some people along the way
Some of them split some of them stay
Some of them walk, some walk on by
I've got a few friends I'll love till I die
From all of these people I try to learn
Some of them shine, some of them burn
Some of them rise, some of them fall
For good or bad I've known them all

We live our life in our own way
Never really listened to what they say
The kind of faith that doesn't fade away
We are the true believers

Aren't they City supporters?
They are but nobody's perfect.
I was born in '78, Oasis were just the anthem band for being a 16-19 year old kid on a council estate in the UK in the mid 90's. Blasting the tunes out in a car, or pub, or park with some crap cider and a few joints.
I get transported back to a daft 18 year old lad with no job, no money, and no worries anytime I hear it.

I used to love them but when I found out they are huge City supporters their music kinda lost its appeal.

I dunno if I have an anthem, I do however have a few tracks that I have a really strong emotional connection to and all seem to scratch different itches.

Belfast - Orbital.
This has an almost transcendental effect on me, I am in an almost ethereal state when listening to this.

Fix you - Coldplay.
Don’t like Coldplay especially but this song … at times in my life where I’m feeling a bit beaten the line ‘Lights will guide you home and ignite your bones’ does something to me. It’s pure hope. Or trust. Either. Great song.

Aisha - Death in Vegas.
When I’m on a charge this is the song to soundtrack it. Beast mode music.

Liquid light - Jessica Curry.
When I need to be reminded of how beautiful the world and life can be, this track trickles beauty straight into my ears and onwards to my soul. The note at 1:25 sends shivers straight down my spine. Heaven music.

Post videos!
I get what you're saying about Fix You. I can relate to that song. Yellow from Coldplay is in my top 10 favorites.
