Depends how the project is sold. If we have a good background team in place, who know their football, then we can sell a project. We need to move well away from the "glamour" signings like Casemiro etc. and move onto young hungry players. There's certainly some allure to being part of potentially making the club good again under a new regime. So much depends on INEOS though, and just what their project will look like.
And I'm sure we will do that, the issue is why would you join us when other teams also want to sign you, and by all reports we aren't paying daft wages any more. We'll ultimately see what happens but I don't think we're going to just find better players out there waiting to play for United on the cheap so it's important we start getting the most out of what we have first and then we'll find it easier to get good players in the door, with CL football also.

If a Doctor in the NHS performed like this every week he'd lost his licence by now and probably in prison for manslaughter. This guy is taking the absolute piss.

Dalot can play left back.
AWB can’t. Playing him there, over and over again when it never works is fecking insanity.

Don’t agree that Dalot is shit either. He’s 10x the player AWB will ever be.
Dalot isn't very good at left back, Dalot isn't very good at right back either but it's his natural position

AWB is shit.

You're likely to gain more by playing Dalot in his ideal position rather than making Dalot worse by sticking him on the left back when you know what you're getting with AWB.

Also, another factor here is that Antony depends more on having someone like Dalot playing with him than Garnacho.

People are acting as if it's a dumb as feck decision and an absolute no brainer to swap things around. People are morons.

How? Pretty straightforward decision to make
There's 4 games left and I think the plan was to let him have until end of the season.

Even that doesn't sound good (tonight's result aside) when you think of how much of the window we could waste searching for a new appointment.

Clubs an absolute shambles at the minute. I really want ETH to work out but it looks like a line has been crossed and I see no way out of it for him now.

Rival fans can view things as they are without the emotion.
And also have the required intelligence to disassociate the position of manager with SAF. Which lots of United fans (and football structure) seem to lack.

He could well win it with Bayern the same Kovac did it. But Kovac was not a good manager and he showed that with Monaco and Wolfsburg.

Seriously he's not going to Bayern the only club stupid enough to hire a fifty year old who had only achieved in the Dutch League when he helped every advantage is us

Plans change all the time and this one was the wrong one from the beginning. There was no reason to keep him here for a long time. It's been obvious he's not good enough for months.

It’s a bit disingenuous to claim the same group of players keeping getting the managers the sack when those previous managers have each basically bought themselves a new starting eleven. The problem is we keep building Frankenstein squads that don’t compliment each other. Each squad seemed to also consist on buying too many players for the #10 role and then shoe-horning them into the team.

Carragher tore his tactics to shreds on live TV 6 months ago and he did nothing to change it.

He’s either the most stubborn person ever. Or the stupidest
. Either way, he has no one else to blame but himself when he eventually does get sacked.
I used to think the same. But now I have come to the conclusion he’s incapable of doing it. He’s not a great tactician. He has one tactics that brought him success in eredivisie and he tried to emulate that here. It has failed here spectacularly and he doesn’t know what to do different.

If we were a serious club we’d announce that he’s leaving at the end of the season already.

I don't disagree and maybe that wasn't the best word choice. I mean like tomorrow. I just don't feel like it will be tomorrow morning.
Definitely not.

I reckon they'll be trying to negotiate with him to lower his payout if he wants the Bayern job. Otherwise they hold him to it until after the final and he risks missing out.
