no top 10 for the 2000's should exist without wall-e, you pathetic swines.
I remember hesitating between Up! and Wall-E, love both. I think Up! works better for me, especially on an emotional level (which you don't have obviously) but I can understand people preferring Wall-E.

Post your fecking list you dickhead, and it better not be 10 quotes out of The Room spoken in Wall-E's voice.

what's wrong with MDB? it's a great film, no idea why it's acquired such hate over the years.
I'm not sure why it's gained hate over the years (I wasn't even aware of it, I thought it had a lot of love to be honest), but I hated it the minute I saw it. I think Eastwood has to be one of the less subtle directors out there, and I found the film incredibly dull. I have very little time for Eastwood, I find his films very mediocre most of the time, good once in a while, and sometimes really awful (Hereafter, my God...).

there's nothing subtle about Eastwood, sure, and I dislike a lot of his films, but I think Mystic River and MDB are great.

Also, the "bad" champion fighter is a ridiculous caricature for a "serious" boxing movie... she's so EEEEEVIL... and I never understood why she isn't DQ'd and the fight awarded to Swank.

Oh, and also, I really dislike Hilary Swank.

Distinctly average film.
I disagree, mainly due to that amazing female 1 vs 1 fight scene. Wouldn't have it in my top 10 though, as the love story element let it down for me.

Just gonna do movies, wasn't a fan of books/music from this decade:

In no particular order:
City of God
Spirited Away
The Pianist
Pan's Labyrinth
The Departed
The Lives of Others
Amelie
Downfall
Gladiator
Amores perros

Feck it, I'm putting The Return on my list. Great film.*
