I don't think that she is doing that though. I fully expect policy speakers etc at the convention for sure. The convention needs to have all of that. Policy, unified message. Speakers that can reach all of the voting blocs. Yes no argument she should also be doing interviews soon. Especially now with the full ticket in place. I dont think its some huge shady deal though like some seem to think. Its fair that she's on a condensed timeline, but that doesn't exempt her from telling the public what her actual policies are and allowing the public to evaluate them. Otherwise there's no point in running if no one knows what you're planning on doing once in office. Trump is obviously far worse, but that doesn't mean Harris should be playing the "you will vote for me, because the alternative is Trump" card.
I think most people are a bit shocked at the level of momentum, and enthusiasm and money so far in a crazy last minute swap. The campaign has to be given credit for the quick turnaround and they clearly have so much more to do but I just dont feel like they are failing yet. And turnout as always is key. All these rally stops and the lines and excitement is building up hope imo. That was missing with Biden and the constant hes old coverage.
Maybe a town hall in a battleground state or something. But, I don't expect at all some Israel go to hell comment. She cannot afford anything divisive at all. She can surely though say I will demand a ceasefire. She needs to be ready to define what the GOP will throw at her and not create issues. What do the battlegrounds in general want. Economy, jobs, give me a congress that will pass a border bill etc.
